“Where am I?” I instinctively asked as I gained consciousness.
I was moving, but my legs were floating.
It felt like I was being carried, but it felt heavy to try to lift my head or even wiggle my toes. I felt overwhelmed with fear and my heart reacted by racing really hard, as I thought about how I might be suffering from a stroke.
“I must commend the fact that you easily resisted the spell I cast on you.”
