“She's the one, no doubt it's her!” The voice was hyped and very excited that it made me feel nostalgic just like the time Nana and Stella had found me in the container at the seaside.
I prayed in my mind that this excitement wouldn't turn sour like when Jason came for me, because I felt like while he never did anything for me while I was with him, he couldn't bear for me to be far away.
It was an unhealthy type of possessiveness.
Plus there was the mate bond that would have him coming for me everytime as long as it doesn't get broken.
I opened my eyes and snapped them close immediately.
