Ian.
It’s about 8pm and I been hanging out with Blake since I left Haylee’s dorm. I really cant go back to my dorm. I have no idea where the h*** I am gonna live. Haylee hasn’t text me back either so she’s probably mad at me. When showing up, I told Blake everything that was going on and even if he’s Nick friend too, he still let me hang. We were playing some ps4.
“So Addison is your sister right?” He asked me.
“Yes she my little sister, why?”
“I don’t wanna piss you off or anything since you have had a bad day but I like her.”
“What do mean you like her?”
“At the club, I was flirting with her and buying all her drinks. She’s a sweet girl, and I like her. I think she likes me back.”
“Listen bro, just be careful with my sister. The last guy that she dated was one of my bestfriend, and I could kill him what he did to her. If you wanna go for it with my sister, then do it but don’t hurt her, don’t do anything she isn’t ready for.” I said to him.
That’s when my phone beeped. I looked at it and it was Haylee.
Haylee: I’m sorry I fell asleep after my walk. I just woke up a little bit ago, I slept all day, this sucks. Where are you?
Ian: it’s ok. How you doing? I’m at blakes since I couldn’t exactly go home. I am going to see about getting switched out into a different dorm on Monday til then I don’t know where I am staying.
Haylee: I’m ehh not the best. Well do you wanna come over and keep me company. Ill let you sleep on my couch til Monday. Brooke won’t mind. Plus I wanna talk to about something important.
Ian: oh, on my way!
“Hey bro, I’m gonna head out. Text me my sister, just remember what I said.”
“I got it man, I’m not that guy just so you know. I do respect woman.”
“Good, thanks for letting me chillin with ya.” I said. Before walking out.
I headed to Haylee’s dorm, when I got there, I knocked on the door. Brooke answered,
“Oh hey.” She said, “Haylee’s on the couch”
That’s when she walked out. I walked in and walked to her living space.
“Hey..” I said
“Hey.”
“So what do you need to talk to me about?” I asked hoping she was gonna tell me she wanted to be with me.
“I need to tell you something, I need you to stay calm and breath when I tell you this..I leaned last night that I can’t keep my own secrets. So I rather tell you now before I tell you drunk and you be mad at me for what I am about to tell you..”
“Now you got me all nervous, what’s going on, Haylee.” I said as I sat next to her. She started to cry.
“Remember when you were in my dorm, and I had a secret that I didn’t share with you?”
“Yes?”
“Well here it is. When I was in Paris, it was after you had stopped talking to me. 6 weeks after we had left for our trips to be exact, I was feeling bad cramping and stomach aches, basically long story short, I was having a miscarriage. I was 6weeks along, I didn’t even know I was pregnant.”
My eyes grew wide. I didn’t even know what to say to her.
“Ian, are you ok?” She asked me.
“I don’t even know what to say right now. Why didn’t you call me?”
“Are you really asked that right now? You never answered any of my other calls.”
“I read every message and listened to all your voicemails you left me, I was just mad. If you would of said something had happened, I would of called you..”
“Can we not fight about this? Ian I had to go through it alone while besides my parents but in a country I am wasn’t used to. I was wishing you were there with me when I was going through it all.”
“I am not trying to fight with you, I am sorry I was there for you! You shouldn’t of had to go through that by yourself.” I said to her as I grabbed her to hold her.
She didn’t say anything instead climb into my lap, I held her tight. I didn’t want to let her go.
“Ian..”
“Haylee?”
“I’ve missed you, I wanna be with you..but..”
“But what?”
“I am afraid your gonna just leave again..”
“Baby, I ain’t going anywhere.” I said to her.
“Next time will you talk to me before just disappearing?”
“Yes. But like I said I ain’t going anywhere this time.”
She looked at me smiling, and kissed me. I kissed her back, I started getting up off the couch with still holding on to her. I walked to her room, kicked the door shut with my foot and sat her on the bed. I climbed on top of her, starting kissing her again.
She put her hand up against my chest pushing me away.
“Ian, I’m not ready. I haven’t had s*x since with you. But I haven’t wanted it because what happen in with the baby..it was scary and I never wanna live it again.”
“I won’t force it on you, when your ready I’m here. I don’t need s*x from you. I just need you, baby.”
“So what are we exactly? Like before or..” she started staying before I interrupted her.
“Haylee, your all mine, we’re official.”
“Never thought I would hear you say that.”
“Do you need to go get some clothes?”
“Nah I’ll worry about that tomorrow..” I said as I got up, took my jeans off and my shirt off and climbed back into bed with her. I gave her a few kisses and cuddled with her before I felt my eyes shutting.
Haylee
It’s been 30 minutes since Ian has fallen asleep. I grabbed my phone off my night stand, and opened Addies messages.
Haylee: you awake?
Addie: unfortunately. Can’t sleep. Why what’s up?
Haylee: do you wanna go for a short walk? I need to talk to you.
Addie: sure?
Haylee: ok. See you on a sec.
I slowly climbed outta bed so I didn’t wake him up. I put some pj pants on because I had some short shorts on. I walked out of my dorm and met up with Addie,
“What’s going on?” She said me.
“I’ll tell you once we get outside.”
We got outside, and starting walking.
“So?? You gonna say anything?” She said.
“Yes. You’re brother and I are official now.”
“Like official, boyfriend and girlfriend?”
“Yes!”
“Omg, about f****** time. Cause your guys are annoying.” She said to me laughing.
“Shut up.”
I told him also, he didnt know how reacted. We talked and he apologized. I told him I wasn’t ready either, and he respected that.”
“Good I’m glad you told him. Did you ever go back to his dorm?”
“No he hung out with Blake until I texted him to come over now he’s passed out in my bed.”
“Blake huh?”
“What?”
“I have a thing for Blake and I think he has a thing for me too.”
“Oh really? Don’t let Ian find out.”
“Right”
That’s when I heard my phone, pulled it out..
Ian: where are you?
“Ok, we should head back. He awake, texting me.”
We headed back, and Addie went into her dorm that’s when I saw Nick waking towards me. I walked passed him not saying a word.
“Haylee!” He said to me.
“What Nick?”
“I just wanted to say, I am pretty pissed that you were kissing him when we were together but I am sorry for everything I said to you, in your room after you told me I was angry. I shouldn’t of went after you when I knew what was going on. I hope we still can be friends?” He said to me.
“I am sorry for everything Nick. I would like to be friends with you.”
“Tell Ian that I am still pissed but he can come back to the dorm and I will be civil, it’s gonna be hard seeing you guys together, but he’s lucky to have you if you guys do get back together.”
“Thanks Nick..”
We hugged and I walked back to my dorm. When I walked in, I heard Ian on the phone. I walked into my room,
“Yup ok we will be there. Love you bye.” He said hanging up the phone.
“Where did you go?” He asked me.
“Went on a walk with Addie, who was that on the phone?”
“My dad, we wants me and Addie to come home this weekend.”
“He was calling you this late?”
“Yeah it was weird.”
I crawled back into bed with him.
“What did Addie and you talk about?”
“Girl stuff”
“You mean me and Blake.” He said to me, laughing.
“You know about the whole Blake situation?”
“Yes, he was talking to me about it today.”
“Wow and your so calm about it,” I said surprised..
“Hey I’m cool with it as long as he doesn’t hurt her. She’s an adult now, I think she will be the right decision.”
“Wow, who are you anymore?”
“I’m your boyfriend, that’s who.” He said smiling, reaching over to kiss me.
“Oh By the way, i ran into Nick in the hallway.” I said to him, he started to look a little angry.
“He told me he sorry for the words he said to me and everything. I apologized too. He said he’s still pissed at you, but if you wanna go back to the dorm, he will be civil.”
“Doesn’t mean I will..”
“Ian..”
“I am joking. But I am still seeing if I can switch. I rather not be roommates with my girlfriends ex.”
“Whatever that might mean you have to change buildings, and won’t be in the same building as me.”
“You got a point there, sweetheart.” He said as he kissed me some more.
“You wanna go home with us, next weekend?” He asked me.
“You mean sitting in a car with you for 7 plus hours, I’m good.” I said trying not laugh but failed.
“Ok I can just go home then.” He said to me trying to get up.
“Don’t you dare, leave me.”
“Yes I will go home with you next weekend.” I added
“Good I don’t wanna go a whole weekend without seeing you.”
“Same.”
“I need to get some more sleep,” he said, as we was cuddling with me.
“Goodnight beautiful,”
“Goodnight babe.”
We both fell asleep quick.
I woke up and look at my phone and it was 4 am. I got up and went to the bathroom. When I walked in, I sat at my desk and turned my desk lamp on. I decided to study, since I haven’t done much of it since before we went out the other night. I put my headphones in and listened to music, so I could study.!!. My laptop light seemed brighter then my lamp. So I turned the brightness down.
I had been sitting at my desk for an hour, when I about jumped out of my chair when I felt hands touch my shoulders. I turned around and saw Ian.
“What is wrong with you?” I said to him.
“I called your name three times before walking over here.”
“Oh sorry, did I wake you?”
“No, but I want a kiss before I head to my dorm.”
“You’re leaving?” I said.
“Just for a little while, I need to shower and change my clothes. Plus I have some studying to do myself. I have a test tomorrow.”
“Since when do you study?”
“This year. I love you, bye. I see you later, maybe we’re have go out for lunch.”
“Love you too.”
He walked out of my dorm. I hope Him and Nick get along, I would like us all to be friends again.
I got up and warmed up a couple of my breakfast burritos, and went back to studying.
Ian
I walked into my dorm, it was quiet. Thankfully it’s real early which means Nick still is sleeping. I went in my room, grabbed my towel and decided to take a shower. When I got walked out Of the bathroom, I saw Nick standing in the kitchen making coffee.
“Wow, you’re up early.” He said to me.
“Same to you..” I said back before walking to my room.
“Bro, let’s talk..” he said.
“ what are we girls?” I replied.
“No seriously. I am not gonna sit here and apologize for my actions, and I’m sure your not either. So let’s just forget about and put in our past.”
“You’re right I ain’t gonna apologize, but I will do that, but not for you but for Haylee.” I said to him.
“Fine.”
“I am not asking you this to rub it in your face, but you gonna be cool with me still living in the dorm and Haylee being around? Because we are together now.”
“Yeah I figured..I’ll manage. I don’t wanna have to deal with a new roommate again.”
“Ok..”I said walking away to my room. I went to my room, took the towel off and put some clothes on. I walked back in the living room, picked up the controllers..
“Game?” I said handing the controller to him.
He grabbed it and that’s what exactly we did most of our morning.
I got a text from Haylee.
Haylee: how did it go?
Ian: just fine. We’re good. We knows about us too. I won’t be switching dorms.
Haylee: good.
