There was one thing that somehow made him happy. He was certain that his family wasn't implicated since these people had attacked him before he even stepped foot into his area.
It was also impossible that these people had been following him since he left his home. The reason being that time only he and his wife were aware of the breathing ore.
Bang!
"Arghh!"
A man crashed heavily onto the ground in front of the group of other men who were approaching Peter. He coughed mouthfuls of blood.
The men stopped in their tracks and had a drastic change of expression.
Peter had skillfully kicked the man. They looked at Peter and saw a wicked grin on his face. It sent shivers running down their spines.
"Bastards! What are you afraid of? Kill him!"
The young man barked after seeing his men no longer moving toward Peter.
The young man's words made them shudder. He was their boss. They had to obey him. But before they moved a foot forward toward Peter again, the latter was already approaching them.
At this moment, he no longer looked like a young coward. He looked terrifying and domineering. He was like a menacing beast that had been hibernating for a long time finally revealing its true colors.
Bang!
Someone was projected backward. Even though he was still standing, he gripped his stomach and groaned in pain.
"Arghh!"
In the next instant, he fell to the ground as he failed to withstand the pain.
Peter had hit his abdomen with a hard knee kick.
The other men watched this scene in fear. Their backs were drenched in a cold sweat.
As they were watching, punches landed on their faces.
Pow!
Pow!
Pow!
Bang!
An elbow strike broke someone's nose.
Bang!
Kicks landed on their bodies.
Bang!
Boom!
Bang!
Boom!
Bang!
Boom!
Another three men were writhing on the ground in pain. Peter was still unscathed.
The cold-looking young man in an ocean-blue suit couldn't help being petrified. He hadn't anticipated that the black young man who seemed like a nerd would be this strong.
Another man flung his fist toward Peter. The latter blocked with his arm.
Another punch, BLOCKED!
Another punch, DODGED!
Pow!
A hard punch landed on the other man's face. He was unable to either block or dodge it.
Bang!
His abdomen was kicked hard causing him to lose balance and fall to the ground but before he crashed to the ground a hard knee kick pushed him backward.
The impact caused him to stagger and fell.
Another man approached Peter. He also flung his fist toward Peter but the latter grabbed it. Peter then tugged the man's arm forcing the man to lurch forward.
Peter tripped over him and landed on the ground with his abdomen so that it looked as if he had hugged the ground. Peter mercilessly kicked the man's face, breaking his nose.
"Arghhh!"
The man let out a horrible shriek.
Only two men are left standing. That's excluding the young man in a blue suit. These two men stood on the left and right side of the young man in a blue suit. Their attire was different from the rest.
Their attire was similar to soldiers attire and they had masks covering their faces.
"Oh. It seems as if you're a bit strong. But you're still inferior to these two. You can't defeat them."
The young man flattered the remaining two men.
"Haha, that's what you're thinking, right?"
Peter asked mockingly.
The young man nodded.
"Of course, that's what I'm thinking. But it's also a fact, man."
The young man was slightly calm unlike how he was a few moments ago.
Peter chuckled for a moment before saying.
"Isn't that similar to what you were thinking moments ago? Moments ago, you thought I'm inferior to your men and that they will easily take me down. The result is I'm far superior to them in terms of strength. Now, you're thinking the same. Isn't that ridiculous?"
Peter initially underestimated his natural strength and abilities. He initially thought those men were much stronger than him. But he was able to easily injure them.
Thus, he now had confidence. In his eyes, those two men could not be much stronger than the others.
"Punk, you don't have eyes. Can't you see that these two men are different from the others? And if you really think you can overpower these two too. That can be considered ridiculous."
Peter shook his head and smiled.
"Alright, actions speak better than words."
After saying these words, he charged toward the young man and his subordinates.
One of the two men stepped forward to deal with Peter.
He kicked Peter, pushing him backward but didn't fall. An overwhelming fist approached straight to Peter's face. The latter dodged it and punched the man's chest.
The man's chest was too big and strong for Peter's punch to injure. To put it simply, Peter's punch had no effect on his chest.
Peter realized this and immediately punched the man in the neck. The man coughed but Peter didn't stop there. He struck the man's throat with his palm.
The palm strike was too strong. It made the man groan as he gripped his throat in agony.
In the next instant, Peter kicked him hard. He couldn't help but fell to the ground in pain.
Seeing this, the young man's expression drastically.
He widened his eyes in shock and disbelief.
But before he could do anything, he noticed Peter approaching him. A dangerous sensation rose within his body.
He had remained with only one intact man but he was no longer confident that the man would be able to defeat Peter.
"Shot him!"
These words caught Peter's attention.
Bang!
Before Peter could do anything a gunshot sound spread throughout the area.
Peter glanced at the young man and his subordinate. He saw the remaining subordinate of the young man aiming a gun at him. Smoke was gushing out the muzzle of the pistol.
Seeing this, Peter realized that the man had shot him. Only then did he begin to feel intense pain spreading throughout his body. He gandered at a place beneath his shoulder which source of the pain. Blood could be seen oozing out from the open wound.
Then his vision blurred. It didn't take long before his vision turned pitch black.
