Chapter 5 - Its Dangerous.

"This ore, this breathing ore is indeed more precious than ores such as gold, diamond, jade, and many others. "As far as this ore is concerned, it can be used to manufacture fatal explosives, in other words, bombs, to be more precise, missiles. The missiles I'm talking about are not different from bio-chemical weapons. "Once they explode, instead of producing poisonous fire, they produce deadly slime. Instead of burning, the slime corrodes everything that has a cell. In other words, living things including humans. "To make matters worse, the corrosive slime spreads to a long distance while annihilating every living thing in its way. "The breathing ore I have ever seen was 4 times smaller than this one. But it spread to a circumference of 100 square miles. That is a size of a small town. "That is enough to explain that this one can spread to a circumference of 400 square miles. Isn't that the whole city?" After asking that question, he stopped for a while before gulping and continuing. "In that case, if the news of this ore spreads, the one keeping it won't survive. In the past, more than 50 soldiers died when some anonymous powerful figures were fighting for a small breathing ore, much less this big ore. "This ore can not only cause the death of you but of me and your family too. When Peter heard this his heart trembled in horror. He didn't want anything bad to happen to his family. His death alone wasn't a big deal but his family's death? He could even sacrifice himself for his family. How could he implicate them? "Therefore, I suggest you dump it away. Have you understand now?." His words resonated in Peter's mind. The latter was nodding his head indicating that he had understood. "Alright, I get it" He said while snatching the ore from the man's hand. He then walked straight toward the entrance, now the exit. He left the room without saying anything more. In no time, he was in the crowded street again. This time his face was ugly and he seemed to be immersed in his thoughts. 'I got to discard it somewhere, but where exactly? 'In the trash bin? No!, someone may pick it up and get into big trouble. Hmph! I don't want to implicate anyone. 'What about digging somewhere and hiding it?' Bang! His shoulder collided with another man's shoulder. The impact caused him to stagger but the other man caught him steadily, preventing him from falling. The man had long black hair and a beard. He wore glasses and a black trench coat. He looked more like a professor or a geek. "Dump that ore away immediately" As soon as the other man said those, he disappeared into the crowd. Peter couldn't help being petrified by the man's words and strange behavior. Moreover, he had never seen the man before and he wasn't one of the two men at the city jewel dealer. Peter wondered how the man knew that he had a breathing ore. He was puzzled. Unfortunately, there was no one who could answer those questions. He sighed and continued walking, but he could feel fear gripping his heart. He felt insecure walking in the crowd, so he turned into a secluded lane. His bad! Walking alone in the lane was much more dangerous than walking in the crowd. The lane itself gave out a creeping and unpleasant sensation. It had a lot of trash as well as little stagnant water on its ground. Sounds caused by mice moving around the trashes searching for food were enough to frighten Peter for a moment. After walking about 20 feet, his face flashed when he saw two men in dark grey suits coming his way. Even though the men didn't say anything, he did not doubt that they were after him. Moreover, the men fixedly stared at him as fierce tigers staring at their prey. That was strange. Peter realized his mistake but it was too late. All he could do was turn around and run from the approaching men. Before he even turned around, he heard footsteps approaching from behind him. When he turned his head around, he saw three men in the same attire as the first two men. He was completely surrounded. Since he was stranded, he stopped walking. The men stopped too. At this moment his heart raced as a sensation of danger rose within him. 'Why so soon? 'Emma was right, I was too stubborn to disobey her. Now I'm dying and I won't see my child. How bad? 'My wife will bear the responsibility of taking care of my child and its all my fault' Peter felt extremely guilty that moisture could be seen in his eyes revealing a hint of tears. "Handover the ore!" Shouted a tall young man in his late 20s. He wore an ocean-blue suit. Only after seeing him did Peter realize that some more people had surrounded him. This time they were around 10 or so. He didn't utter a word and kept blankly staring at the young man. "Handover the ore! Are you deaf!" The young man yelled coldly in anger. Peter touched his forehead and scrubbed his face, especially eyes before saying... "If I hand over the ore, will you let me off?" Hearing this, the young man smirked but, in the next moment, his face turned extremely cold. "Brat, do I sound like I'm begging? Hand over the ore! this is an order!" The young man bellowed. This was enough to tell that the young man was cold and heartless. There was no way he could spare Peter. Moreover, if he let Peter off, maybe Peter could breathe out what had happened to other people and the news about the ore might spread. In that case, a war over the ore could break out. That was what the young man and his team would not like to see. Peter had already figured out all this and knew he was definitely going to die. He had a look of despair. "It seems like you can't differentiate your subordinate and another person." He said while smiling bitterly... Anyway, he was still going to die. It was good to talk some more before dying. After all, he hadn't talked much in his life. The cold-looking young man's face grew colder. He gnashed his teeth and shouted. "You're so daring, do you know who am I?" He said while pointing at his chest. Peter laughed bitterly while shaking his head. After laughing for a while, he stopped and said. "Do I look like I care about your identity? Your identity has nothing to do with me. In my eyes you're trash... not trash..a ...shit" As soon as these words left his mouth, everyone had astonished expressions on their faces. This black boy was too arrogant and daring. "Kill him!" The young man ordered as he trembled with anger. A bunch of gentlemanly-looking men charged toward Peter. Seeing strong men approaching him from all directions, he smiled bitterly. This might be his last smile.
