Chapter 39One of Angela's colleagues had arranged a charity fundraiser for Yorkhill Children's Hospital and Angela was trying to make up a table to support the event. As it was to be held in the Stamperland Community Centre, which was only a ten minute walk from her home, she was looking forward to a night out where neither she nor Bobby had to drive. They had already asked Jake and his partner Miranda to join them but ideally they needed another couple to make up a table of six. Angela telephoned Liz who wanted to attend but she didn't have a current boyfriend to bring with her.
