Chapter 29Over the next couple of days Thomas thought about Nadia and obsessed about her trip to Pakistan. He'd found out that the wedding was being held in Lahore and he searched the internet for information about the area. Whenever he pictured Nadia in his mind he always saw her standing still and calm with a serene look on her face, just like the statues he'd seen in church depicting the Virgin Mary. He found it easier now to picture Nadia but to call her Mary when speaking to Alan and he was less afraid of getting mixed up.
