I groan as the ringing of my phone wakes me up. I grab my phone and press the accept button without checking the caller ID.

"Hey man, what's up?Why have you not arrived at your office? it is almost 12 o'clock."

I mumble as I try to jolt myself from the sleep. The voice sounds familiar but I feel too sleepy. I look at the caller ID sleepily and realize it is Dave.

"Bro,I am not feeling too good. I don't think I would come to my office today. my manager would handle everything."

"oh! Sorry man. You should rest well. I just came to check up on you. I would leave now. Take good care of yourself." he says

"What the heck man? We still saw each other yesterday. You don't need to check up on me."

"Well,I have to check up on you since you are single. I am currently like your girlfriend." he says while chuckling.

"Son of a b***h" I mutter under my breath

"I heard that. Go back and sleep. We would talk later. Bye" he says as he hangs up.

I yawn as I get up from the bed. I just lied to Dave about being sick. I don't want to start talking about Selena to him. We might not finally work out and he would probably tease me about it for the rest of my life.

I drag my feet to the bathroom. I stare at myself in the mirror. I have dark circles under my eyes probably due to lack of proper sleep. I brush my teeth and take my shower. I go through my closet and decide to dress casually since I was meeting her at home

I check my phone and realize that she has already texted me her address. He house is about an hour drive from my house. I walk out of my house to my garage where my car is parked. I climb into the car and drive out of my compound as the gate closed behind me.

I branch at a boutique to buy flowers. I see a nice bouquet of rose flowers and buy it . Then, I continue my journey to her house.

I arrive at at the gate of her mansion. My jaw dropped in admiration of the beauty of her house. it is quite large and intimidating.

I dial her number and inform her that i am outside. The gate opens automatically. I guess she has a means of opening the gate electronically from inside the house. I drive in and park my car beside her cars. I saw probably almost 20 cars in the mission and they are the latest cars. She must be quite rich to afford this.

I get down from the car and pick the flowers. I begin walking towards the door of her house. The door opens before I get there. I am stunned by her appearance as my eyes lands on her. I know she is beautiful but she suddenly looks more beautiful today. She wore a simple blue gown which complemented her blue eyes. She also packed her hair in a bun. The gown length stopped above her knees,so I could see her long and sexy legs.

"Welcome to my house Chris.Come on in" she says with a smile and starts walking into the house. I begin to follow her like a lost puppy and try to shake the nervousness out of me.
