The kiss

Selena's pov

I lead him to my dining table and turn around only to see a bouquet of flowers stretched at me. I am surprised as I collect it from him.

"Wow! I love this flowers. They are so beautiful. Thank you. I really appreciate." I say as I quickly place the flowers In a vase before bringing out a chair for him to sit down. He hesitates to sit down and says "It is weird for a lady to bring out a chair for a man. It is a man's duty."

"Oh darling! it doesn't matter. It is my duty to take care of you now" I reply. I see a tiny of pink in his cheeks before he finally sits down.Then,I walk across to my seat to sit down.

"Wow! This is such a lovely dish. I love the combination of Rice,chicken and salad with this whiskey. The food looks yummy."

"Of course it is. Eat your meal first,we would talk as we eat." I reply.

"Okay" he says as he starts eating. I pick up my spoon too and begin to eat. I start staring at him as eats. He is definitely so handsome. My gaze moves downwards to his lips. "Damn! Never have I ever seen a man with such alluring lips as his. His lips are pink and they look attractive" I think to myself as I lean across the table to run his lower lip. He freezes completely before lifting his beautiful green eyes to meet mine.

I remove my hand, stand up and walk to his seat. I pull his chair backward and sit in his lap. I grab his face gently and lean in to kiss him. His lips were warm and soft. They parted slightly, allowing my tongue to slip inside his mouth. I could feel the soft tickle of his breath beneath my nose. I run my hand through his hair as we kiss. After a while,we both pause to catch our breath. Warmth blossomed in my chest and I could feel my heart pounding fast.

I stare at his face and see him looking down. I could see he was blushing really hard.

"Look at me" I say.

He looks up and I tell him" that was the best kiss I have ever had in my life. It was so amazing."

He smiles and replies" I am glad that you felt that it was amazing. I was worried that you didn't enjoy it because you don't have much experience on that."

I am confused by what he is saying" What do you mean by you don't have experience on that? Hold on,are you trying to tell me that you have never kissed before?"

He looks down and quietly says "Yes".

"Wow!I am so proud and happy to be your first kiss" I say happily. He smiles a little but still refuses to meet my gaze.

I stand up from his lap and walk back to my seat. "Let's continue eating then. Though,I would love to know more about you. What is your full name,your age, your date of birth,ur biggest wish and every other thing about you"

"Well,My full name is Christian Campbell. I am 26 years old. My date of birth is 3rd of December,1997. My biggest wish right now is to find my dream woman and get married. I want to spend the rest of my life with her" he says while holding my gaze.

"Well,I hope you have already found your dream woman because I have already found my dream man. My dream man is you, darling." I reply and he starts blushing again.

"Oh! Yo-Yo-You are also my dream woman"

"I am glad to hear that darling." we continued our conversation as we ate our food. I wasn't even aware of how much time has passed until I looked up at the time. The time was 6:30pm.

"Oh my God! It is already late. I don't want you driving home late at night."

"I would be on my way home now. I really enjoyed our date. I loved the food too.It was delicious. Thanks so much." he says as he stands up.

"You are welcome,love. I would drive you home"

"There is no need.I brought my own car. I guess you have forgotten"

"I know you brought your own car. Bring your keys. I would drive you home and come back home in an Uber. I am responsible for your safety" I say.

"No! stop it" he replies as he raises his hand in the air which makes the keys far from his reach. I give him a displeased look which he notices and avoids my eyes.

"I am sorry but I can't allow you drive me home. I would be worried about you on your way back home."

"Okay then. Drive safely. Goodnight" I say as I go back to my seat. I was still feeling a little bit displeased at the thought of him driving home alone in d dark.

"Ummm...okay" he murmurs while still standing on the same spot.

"Why are you not yet going?"

He looks down at his fingers and says "I am sorry for what I am about to say and this might sound weird. But, please can I give you a goodnight kiss?

I smile and signal him with my fingers to come to me. He walks up to me,leans in and kisses me. He was about to pull back after a while but I held his head in place with my hand. Sparks flew as I kissed him deeply. Seconds fly by before I finally release him. "Goodnight my baby" I say.

"Good night" he replies as he quietly walks out of my house. I press the button to open the gate. Soon,I hear the sound of his car zooming out of my compound. Then,I press the close button."

"Damn!That was definitely the best date I ever had." I say to myself as I begin to walk upstairs. I guess I would take a shower and later check up on him to see if he has gotten home.
