Nash and the man stood confused on what just transpired with the figure. Were they actually there? Were they real? How did they vanish if they were. "Ok!" John said breaking the silence "Time to get out of here before they get us." John said pointing to the group forming into a mob down towards the center of town moving ever so closer. "I think your right let's move." Nash said riding his horse hard to flee the onslaught of foes heading towards them. They rode for days never stopping to rest or eat just riding faster and faster till it felt they broke through to the speed of light. "We have to rest John!" The man screamed at John who seemed fixated on the horizon. Shaking it off John returned to reality "Your right." Slowing his horse down to a steady trot before finally stopping. "We rest here." John ordered as Nash and the man stopped on a dime, then dismounted following John in suit. "Set up your tents boys I think we lost them." John said gathering his supplies from his horse. "Nash go gather us up some grub." John said snapping his fingers pointing at the man "You. What's your name again?" John asked as if he was drawing a blank. "Charles." The man said. John lit up like a bulb. "That's it! Charles make us a fire once Nash returns, we discuss our next plan." Nash could hear John say as he began to dissolve into the darkness hunting for pray. "How could this get worse!" Nash thought to himself. "First, an angel saved the devil, then we flee from death. This can't get any worse for us!" As he was thinking a rustle came from the bush. Silently, Nash dropped to the ground his eyes trained on the bush. A little rabbit appeared from the bush, its nose wiggling to and fro. It's eyes beading with life, plum just enough to eat it."It'll have to do." Nash whispered to himself, raising his gun targeting the rabbit. He took aim at the creature timing his shot for a merciful kill. Then out of the corner of his eye he seen a shadow leap towards him. "Shit." he said dropping his rifle and drawing his knife. Once on top of him he could tell it was a boar but not any boar this boar had enough meat to eat for months yet the way it moved was quick. Almost too quick for Nash to keep up with. The boar's eyes flashed charging forward towards Nash knocking him off his feet. It snarled and began to bite Nash. It's teeth attempting to take a chunk out of his face. "Not today big boy." Nash said plunging his knife in the under belly of the boar. Blood gushed out the boar covering Nash with it's intestines. The boar's eyes widen before it wheeled back off him. Leaping to his feet Nash started towards the boar ready to finish it off. Without hesitation he dug his knife deep into the heart of the boar. Squealing one last time the light from the boar faded nothing was left but darkness in it's eyes. "Tonight we eat till we are full." He said to himself lifting the boar over his shoulders with a huff. Trekking it for miles he finally could see Charles had created a bright fire. "Got some good eats I see." John said grinning ear from ear. Nash nodded before throwing the boar on the ground next to the fire. "Just gut it and clean it and we can eat till we return to town." Nash said to John as he brought out his cleaning kit. "One day you boys will need to learn this." he said to Joana and Nash who stared blankly at him. "We got you tho boss." Charles said making John laugh. "Until we get home that is." His face became stern sending a shiver down Nash's spine. "Once the higher ups find out we failed to even kill one horseman I'll likely be fired." He looked intensely at the fire "Or if they knew I asked them for help." He continued speaking. "By the way who are they?" Charles asked, interested "Mean they did help save me didn't they?" Charles said c*****g a eyebrow. That's right he didn't know! He didn't know the plan they came up with was their design. John nodded "Not only did they save you but they created the plan for us to get to you." John stated the fire shining in his eyes. "We at mega call them the wolves. People who been so destroyed by all this they do anything to survive. They've even learned to use the darkness and shadows to their advantage to disappear at will." John said to Charles who looked pale realizing they made a pac with the wolves the vicious and meanest group of humans alive. "I......I thought they were a myth." He said nervously. John and Nash shook their heads "Real as you can get boy." John said. Nash could tell by that sentence alone Charles was scared. "Not all wolves are evil incarnate." Nash quickly intervened. "Yeah like the ones that helped you boy." John said shooting daggers at Nash who just ignored it "It's a group that's changed over the years." Nash opened one palm "At first the group wanted to kill the devil and anyone in their way." He opened his other hand "Then the group split off into groups with their own agendas." He told Charles to lessen his worry. "Three main groups of wolves exist now." Nash continued "Group one is lead by the master as he's called. Their goal is to rid the world of all evil." He held up two fingers "Group two is lead by a cold blooded merc that goes by the big boss. She's who we contacted to help you out of the situation so quickly." Nash stated before holding up a third finger "The last group of wolves is lead by a mysterious man. No one knows who or what his objective is. Just comes in whispers." Nash said as the food began to cook. "Anyways our company frowns on us using the wolves for anything since their so many of them and so little of us." John said rotating the meat. "The company wants peace but the wolves all three groups have their own agendas that conflict with our beliefs......" Charles looked confused "They all belive that God has abadon us." Nash said grimly, tearing off a piece of meat to eat. "Ok boys enough talk we ride again at dawn." John said putting his hat over his eyes before falling asleep.
