“Look who’s speech has gotten better” “f**k you rose” “nah I’ll let Jase do the honor” my face blushes a little at the thought of him being near. Why....search........f..for....me? Oh dear please forgive me how rude of me for not explaining. My name is Rebecca and I would like to aid in the falling of alpha Nick.

 He is a cruel man who takes advantage of young girls against their will. He’s a greedy evil snob who needs to be put down for all of his wrong doings. And...who......takes........alpha...t..title? Oh, I just hoped you would actually a lot of us had hoped so. I...came....f...for.....my.........m....mate. Rebecca lowers her head causing her hair to cover her face. The ones who wish for a new alpha asked me to tell you something in their behalf.

I.........for...give.....the......p...pa...pack. Rebecca squeals with joy as she bounces on her feet. Ok we need to go now while it’s raining if I am to sneak you anywhere. I nod my head with understanding. I hug my body as we step back into the cold sleet which begins to to fall heavier. Shivering as we drudge deeper into the forest attempting our best to keep out of sight. Two hours into our journey a small building appears in the distance etching closer with each passing step. 

Rebecca brakes the silence Home sweet Home. The roof looked to be made of hay and wood. The house is wooden with steps leading up to a incredibly small porch. Rebecca unlocks the door quickly and steps out of the freezing weather dripping from head to toe. Well come on Leigh it’s freezing out there and you’ll catch a terrible cold if you don’t hurry. I hesitantly step inside and close the door as Rebecca walks hastily to her fire pit rousing embers from their slumber then rushes to a room towing two towels and dresses. I strip from the soaked dress grabbing a towel to dry off it took forever to get my hair dry and it probably would have taken longer if Rebecca hadn’t jumped in to help me.

After finally getting myself dry I slipped in the dry dress Rebecca brought to me. I couldn’t help but sigh in content as the warmth of the wholly material snuggly hugged against my body. For the next couple of days Rebecca taught me things I missed out learning as a child she even helped me with my speech. A couple days went to a week to two weeks til a month has finally passed. I was so proud of myself learning so much just within a months time not including being able to speak properly well for the most part that is. I do stutter every so often but from where I started to where I have come to is wonderful. It was difficult to hide my scent each time Rebecca was to leave but we managed.

Rebecca would mention me taking over the pack throughout the month and it was starting to irritate me just not in the way you would think. One day while she was out for a pack meeting Rose pipped in pushing me over the edge. “She is right you know?” “Naw I just thought she was talking s**t to us, of course I know she’s right Rose.” “Well?” “Oh come on not you too.” “She’s obviously getting no where so I might as well pitch in.” 

“We didn’t come here let alone this far for them.” I was shaking with anger...anger I didn’t even realize I had pent up. Rose burst through the door panting out of breath. Jolting me from my emotions My voice came out a bit shaky What’s wrong Rebecca?  She says each word between inhaling every breath. He....knows........your..............here. I stare at her wide eyed in shock. 

He is demanding a pack meeting in the morning and while we’re there there’s going to be an inspection in every home or room. If there’s anything tying to you then the person responsible for your sanctuary will be punished. Leigh you have to leave or he’ll kill you! If I leave then he’ll kill you I refuse to leave you just for you to die. Her eyes changed from its normal shade to a golden like hue. “Oh s**t” was all I could think knowing what she was about to do. Rose surfaced curious what was taking place.

“What’s going on Leigh?” “She’s about to accept us as alpha by revoking Nick, and if she dose that then he’ll know for sure who has been helping us...please Rose I haven’t begged you for anything but I am right now so please stop her or she’ll die because of us.” I Zoie acknowledge you.... Rose cut Zoie off as our voice boomed through the small cabin. No! I refuse to risk you life let alone the lives of others in this pack so I will be gone tonight that way my scent will fade by the time the inspection occurs then maybe his attention will be on me. Why reject me though? Your safety means everything to me Zoie that is why. Rebecca reluctantly accepted my decision then agreed to scout to inform me of the best route for tonight.

The time went by slowly as I sat in the guest room waiting for Rebecca to return as the minutes turned into hours me and Rose became anxious worrying if something happened to her. I was pacing the room by the time it was dusk. The room was filling with oranges, yellows, reds, and pinks from the suns welcoming morning rays. I froze in my tracks the second a unknown scent hit my nostrils with leaves crunching and limbs snapping. “They’re coming RUN LEIGH!” With Roses urgency I raced out with the sound of feet pounding after me. My heart feels like it’s going to burst out of my chest racing towards the border.

“Wait what about Rebecca we can’t leave her?” “Are you really willing to take the title Leigh?” I release a roar of anger stopping in my tracks. “This is OUR pack not his so help me if he lays a finger on her he’s dead.” “Then let’s take back what’s ours shall we Leigh?” I turned as two men slowed to a stop in front of me panting. There’s no where to run Leigh. Rose is at the surface prepared to take control and I know they could see it with my eyes shining a different color.

The second man takes a small step forward with his hands in front of himself as a sign to be no threat. I will accept you as my alpha as will my family but please save Rebecca. What... panic sets in as his words sink in. Where is she? The first man kneels with a arm crossed his chest with a closed fist I two will accept you as my alpha as long as you show true compassion as well as strength. Pride swelled within me. I walked up to the two men placing a hand on each one smiling.

I think i..it’s about time I take my r..rightful place. Both men mirrored my smile placing a hand over mine speaking in unison. “Yes Alpha” now where is she? He’s holding her in front of the pack house chained to a cement slab preparing to lash her with a silver tipped whip. He demanded us to hunt you down and escort you to the slab to witness her being tortured then her death just before he kills Jase then you. Ok, here’s the plan you two will take me so no questions is raised on your loyalties.

They nodded. Put the silver cuffs on me too. Both men shared a glance with each other hesitating with my inquiry. Well come on guys Rebecca is on borrowed time. One of the men finally responded. But alpha how will you be able to rescue her if your bound by silver? I look at him while answering. I’ve got that under control now let’s go guys.

 Man I can’t wait to get these God forsaken cuffs off. “Leigh are you positive about this?” We walked for three in a half hours when the mansion like house finally comes into view. “Didn’t miss this hell hole did you Rose?” “Not even a little Leigh” I huffed thinking of the irony of the situation. “This is where it all started and now this is where we leave the darkness to bask in the light.” 

Rose smiled “we can achieve anything as long as we’re together.” “Let’s show this dirtbag who’s the actual Alpha what do you say Rose?” “His ass is grass” Rose was getting to the point she was fighting to take control. “Calm down Rose just a little longer we are almost made it, ok?” “Something is wrong I sense a lot of people.” 

I didn’t get the chance to answer when tons of scents slammed into my nostrils. I froze in mid stride shaking as tears threatened to escape. I grabbed one of the men by their wrists. Both men placed a hand on me one on my left shoulder the other on my right hand to comfort me. I...I heard h....he was killed. Come on we must get you there before it’s too late I promise we will explain everything Alpha. The man standing on my left gently placed near the small of my back.

We are by your side no matter what Alpha. By the time we past through the gateway entrance I could smell blood causing Rose to fight brutally to take over attempting to force the shift. The center of the lawn was filled with the whole pack and as we neared they parted like the Red Sea in the Bible. That’s when I saw them all three chained to large wooden pools their hands raised above them the men Jase and my father only wore trousers while the back of Rebecca’s dress was torn as well as bloodied. At that moment I lost complete control snapping the chain causing the cuffs to brake off roaring. I bolt forward my blood boiling with overwhelming rage bursting the dam that held my emotions in check. My voice boomed  ferociously. 

WHERE IS HE!? My head snapped to the resonating foot steps. I felt my nails extend into claws and my canines extend. I CHALLENGE YOU FOR THE TITLE OF ALPHA! My father’s voice pierced through as he yelled “NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!” Nick lips curved into a menacing smile “I accept b***h” I was shocked to hear his voice again let alone with so much emotions flowing within his words.

 “good, then by the power bestowed to me from the Moon Goddess a challenge has been made as well as answered thus being said as a high leader in the conceal I shall bare witness which holds true to tradition the challenge is to the death for the claim as Alpha of the Eclipse Pack now release the captives the challengers have til just before noontime for the fight.” Rose calmed down tremendously once my father, Jase, and Rebecca was freed. All three rushed to me enveloping me in a hug. “As tradition states there shall be a feast before the fight which pack members are to revoke both challengers as Alpha to create an equal chance then respects paid with the burial of the fallen followed by the celebration ceremony for the winner and if there’s a mate the ranking of their mate once marking and mating has occurred may the strongest prevail.” Everyone flooded the pack house to prepare some barely containing their excitement others melancholy. The three before me dragged me to a empty sound proof room oddly enough was a study room. I flinched when they spoke in unison “What the f**k were you thinking?!” 

I was unsure what to really say so I said the first thing that popped into mind. Um.... how’s about Hi to start with? My dad’s intense stare softened wrapping his arms around me hugging tightly planting a gentle kiss on my forehead. “Oh my Leigh my babydoll how you’ve blossomed over these years.” I started crying into his chest hugging him back. I never gave up, but when I heard you were killed my world shattered I’m so sorry daddy. He smothered my hair down soothing me in the process.

We unwrapped ourselves whipping at our tear stained cheeks sniffing I raised my face and smiled at him overjoyed that I had finally gotten my father back. Jase cleared his throat we turned our attention to him and Rebecca. Oh daddy this is Rebecca my friend and Jase....Um...well he’s..... I was at a lose for words dumbstruck on how to explain to my dad who Jase was or who he is supposed to be to me when Jase pipped in. I’m her mate sir and it’s an honor to meet you I hope to spend as much time with you two once this is situated. “Don’t worry Leigh he’ll be weaker once he’s revoked as Alpha that gives us a upper hand”

The door opened reviling Alex entering the study smiling as Rebecca pounces on him hugging him squealing. BIG BROTHER YOU CAME! My bottom jaw literally felt like it dropped to the floor. Jase and my dad burst into laughter at my reaction. Alex gently places Rebecca back on her feet turning to me. I couldn’t stop myself from babbling. Wait what????...he’s...your....brother.......what the actual f**k!!!! Rebecca’s took on a few shades brighter embarrassed.

Alex spoke with humor dripping off his words. Ah I see your speech has improved tremendously as well as you being on two feet. I shot back my comment. Haha real funny you know you could be a jokester Alex. Alex pretend to be appalled sucking in a gasp sarcastically placing a hand over his chest. We all laughed easing the suffocating tension floating in the air. Alex clears his throat putting all joking aside for business.

I’m glad you had time to connect even reconnect with everyone but I must discuss a matter of great importance dealing with the challenge it has been brought to my attention by the opposing party that you have a strong line of Alpha blood coursing through your veins. I looked at him questioningly speaking cautiously. I wouldn’t exactly say strong bloodline since as I am a woman everyone knows the dominance from a Alpha’s bloodline passes to the first born male not female. Alex sighs rubbing his face. Well that would be the case if you weren’t an only child isn’t that right sir. My dad nods his head yes looking down at me. I’m so proud of you but the future of the pack and our bloodline falls on your shoulders babydoll.

Ok then what dose that mean then? My question exists shaky fearing Alex’s next statement. My dad places a firm grip on my shoulder in emotional support for me. Well there’s a couple of choices 1) you fight only as a human 2) you could be given wolfsbane or silver but the effects alone is unstable 3) you could be revoked as the Alpha’s dominant bloodline heir 4) a witch or warlock could suppress the Alpha blood within you temporarily that is. Dad growled while talking. Revoking her is not a choice do you understand me boy. I stay silent contemplating my options while the others continued bickering.

“What do you think Rose?” “Unless you want to mate and mark before the fight the best option is four” I sighed realizing Rose was right and knowing I’m going to hate this either way. I curved my lower lip placing each middle finger near the corners of my mouth at an angle releasing a ear piercing whistle causing everyone in the study to stop bickering and covering their ears once I knew I had everyone’s attention I finally spoke up. I’ve made my decision...... contact a witch as quickly as possible. I walked out of the study beyond ready to eat heading to the feast hall but was redirected into another room. Complaining in my head flustered. 

“Ah come on I was so close to food too” I spin on my heels about to fly onto the culprit keeping me from such a wonderful feast to see Jase standing there. “f**k me of all the times to choose to reject me it has to be now.” “Leigh, You don’t know that’s what he’s doing dumbass” “hey Rose...” “yes?” “f**k OFF”

 Rose growled furiously from my outburst. I gasp from the intense sparks shooting from out our connecting skin. Jase gently traced the side of my face with his fingers. I bit my lower lip to keep a soft moan from escaping I close my eyes shut tight fighting the overwhelming urges building up inside caused by his touch and voice. Oh where out thou Juliet hast thou come for me? My heart jumps to my throat speechless. “Rose purred I mean what kind of dog purrs?”

 “The happy kind b***h now answer him!” I place a hand gently around crock of his neck locking eyes with him. Oh Romeo oh Romeo I’d follow the to hell and back for hast thy not captured my heart as thou prisoner. Jase captures my face cupping it with both hands. Oh Juliet know thus has also captured thy heart as thou prisoner for thy love drives the pulling thy like a magnet yet no prison shall keep thyne love apart nor shall thynes raging seas thyne Juliet is but thynes hearts keeper. “Oh my Goddess he’s not rejecting us Rose!” “Sounds like the opposite Leigh doesn’t it?”

I pulled his head down to mine crushing our lips together causing the sparks to ignite into a blazing bond fire. Our kissing got intensified as he guided me backwards until I was pinned up against it with my fingers intertwined in his he placed both my hands above our heads. Our lips were at war while my lower parts leaked its mysterious juices. He slides one of his hands from mine down my arm sends goosebumps all over my body tracing his fingers down my side to my hip gently squeezing it. I lean into him even more unable to get enough of his touch or smell I wanted more more of him. I gasp as Jase grabs my ass taking the opportunity to invade my mouth with his tongue exploring every inch of it. Unable to hold back any longer a pleasurable moan leaves my throat into his mouth as he lifts my leg sliding his hand further down my leg in the process of lifting the base of my dress. 

As he reaches the base of my dress to my ankle he slips his hand under the material gracing my soft skin with the presence of his rough calloused hand as his claws graze my skin ever so gently caressing my leg. My claws extend and with my free hand I place it on his back between his shoulder blades scratching him drawing blood he growls In pleasure. The door bursts open to my dad heatedly stomping towards us furious. Jase jerks away breathing heavily growling possessively “mine!” Tightening his grip once he slides a arm around my waist. “Oh s**t this isn’t good” “no s**t Sherlock he interrupted us Leigh!”

Dad growled threateningly. Release my daughter before I tear you apart. “What the f**k is happening?” Rose is at the surface still on cloud nine dazed and confused like me from the intense kissing from Jase. My dad steps closer extending his claws baring his canines. Jase moves me behind him as he mimicked dads actions. I begin panicking as the severity of the situation sets in I grab Jase pushing past him positioning myself between the two before they attack each other.

I raise both arms with my hands extended out to each man forcing them to step back a little. Stop!! Both men growled in unison as they spoke they’re voices sounding deeper almost animalistic “move” a cold ran down my spin from their demand. I shook my head no. I turned my head to my dad. We have a lot to work out from the years of suffering I was put through.

 I turned my attention to Jase next. You have to build a relationship before claiming me as yours and another thing I’m not anyone’s property nor am I some vulnerable child. They bowed they’re heads in defeat. Now could we please eat before the foods all gone or at least before the fight? They nodded they’re heads in agreement. Dad leads the way out of the room walking down the hall. I noticed the hall decorations from old armor to weapons to giant portraits of previous Alpha’s proudly posing beside their Luna’s.

I pause at the portrait of my parents lifting my hand grazing my finger tips along the smooth paintings surface. My voice comes out barely over a whisper. I’ll make you proud mom. Dad appears beside me teary eyed. She already is babydoll. For the first time in a long time I genuinely smiled. The mouth drooling smells of delicious food captures my wholehearted attention with my nose stuck into the air leading the way. 

I speed walk in the direction of the heavenly scents until I reach my destination. I didn’t wait for the guys to stack my plate high with food ready to chow down. I grabbed photos, greens, carrots, steak, pork chops, ribs, and peas among the piles of dishes. I rush to an empty seat rising a ribeye to my drooling mouth. I moaned as I chewed on the divine meat forgetting everyone around me I savored each and every individual dish I got a portion of. Alex walked to the center of the room clearing his throat gaining everyone’s attention shifting to face him. “As tradition dictates the pack must individually revoke their present Alpha once finished since the opposing challenger carriers a strong Alpha bloodline she also must temporarily suppress the Alpha within her to create an equal playing field for both challengers.”

One by one the pack members revoked him. Immediately his Alpha aroma proceeded to diminish. I watched the last three members walk up to him. Rebecca, Jase, and my dad stopped forming a line side by side to each other facing Nick pausing for a moment before proceeding. My anxiety was eating away at my nerves with the small ritual taking place for me next. Rebecca was the first of the three to revoke him which produced the usual effect but the next two were going to be the worst. I scooted to the edge of my seat in anticipation for the worst blows caused yet.

Jase’s voice resonates throughout the feast hall “I Jase Beta of the Eclipse Pack revoke you as my alpha.” All of a sudden the air woodshed outward as a soft booming sounded. Nick clutched his chest contorting his face in pain refusing to express any kind of weakness. Nick’s face drained of its color as dad stared at him malicious.
