James, a 19-year-old gardener, works quietly at the home of Mr. Robbie, a wealthy man whose daughter, Sandra, unknowingly changes his life. Though James has deep feelings for her, he believes the world is divided into two classes—the rich and the poor—and that someone like him could never belong in Sandra’s world. So, he suppresses his emotions and focuses on his work, trying to avoid any situation that might cause trouble between him and his boss.

Blooming where it shouldn't 🌱
Even though James had feelings for Sandra, he dared not approach her because he always believed that the world was classified into two groups — the rich and the poor. Since he was not fortunate enough to be on the rich side, he accepted his fate and kept to his lane. Moreover, he never wanted anything that would bring enmity between him and his boss.James was a nineteen-year-old boy who worked for Mr. Robbie, Sandra's dad, as a gardener. He went there every day to sweep the compound, cut the grass, trim the flowers, and do some minor work.Whenever Sandra heard James' voice greeting the gateman, she would rush downstairs and stand at a distance, watching James as he worked. This made James feel very uneasy. Anytime he turned his head to check if she was still there, his eyes would always meet hers, and this made him feel uncomfortable. This went on and on until one day Sandra decided to break the silence.James had just started working when Sandra came and stood at her usual position, gazing at him. As she summoned courage, she spoke.“Hello… do you need help?” she said shyly.Even though she knew those were not the right words, because they both knew she could not really help him, she said it just to start a conversation.James, on the other hand, knew Sandra was joking, so he simply let out a smile.“I don't want you to stress yourself,” James replied, still smiling.Sandra's heart melted with joy. One word sang repeatedly in her head as she walked toward him:He spoke to me!After that day, the two never felt shy about talking to each other again. Anytime James came to work, Sandra would come outside, and they would stay together until James was done working. This went on and on.Sandra's father noticed the growing closeness between his gardener and his daughter. He thought about it for a moment, then brushed it aside, saying to himself that James was too poor for his daughter to fall in love with. But what Sandra's father didn't know was that love is like a garden, blooming in the most unexpected places.Still, to clear his mind, he decided to warn James. It was a sunny mid-afternoon, around 12 p.m. James had just finished working, and Sandra was seeing him off. They were chatting and laughing as they walked toward the big gate.Mr. Robbie was standing on the balcony. He saw them and bit his teeth in anger.“Bye, Sir,” James said immediately he saw Mr. Robbie.Mr. Robbie paused for a while. It seemed like he was thinking carefully about what to say.“Come over. I need to see you,” he said.James knew Mr. Robbie was talking to him, so he didn't hesitate. He walked toward the stairs, then into the living room that led to the balcony. Mr. Robbie was already waiting for him there.“What relationship do you have with my daughter?”“I don't get you, Sir?” James replied.Actually, James had heard and understood what Mr. Robbie meant, but he was momentarily out of words because the question came unexpectedly. So he used the reply to buy himself enough time to think of a better answer to Mr. Robbie's question.please🙏🙏🙏 follow for more episodes
