An Opportunity

A few weeks have passed since the tragic battle between the humans. Well, the tragedy was on the humans’ side while Julius’s fiends had only grown more powerful after they consumed the high-grade corpses and evolved. There were more fiend variants now within Julius’s forces but the most important thing was the more advanced buildings he could create after leveling up to level 3 had finished. The fiends underwent their second upgrade and were now a force to be reckoned with. Speaking of the fiends, the outside world was finally made aware of their presence within the Shifting Hallows. The new race of creatures known as the fiends drew the eyes of many on the Harrdigor continent...as well as the Lothur continent because from the recent battle between the dwarves and humans where the fiends had played an active role which led to the downfall to 3 of the 4 humans forces that attacked the dwarves. The humans were skeptical of their standing and this was good for the Lothur continent’s dark alliance who, from recent news, wanted to make contact with the fiends and see if they could reel the fiends into their alliance. “Has the advance team made contact with those fiends yet?” A robustly built man sitting behind a desk asked. This wasn’t the Harrdigor continent because the man behind the desk had large curved horns on his head and his irises were shaped in slits and gold in color while the man’s sclera was black.  Obviously, he wasn’t a human. This man here was one of the great demons of Lothur continent’s dark alliance’s 66 demon lords, Grand Demon Bael. Despite his rather atrocious appearance for a human, if one looked at him objectively, he possessed a rather ‘masculine’ beauty. Bael’s demon subordinates were currently reporting to him the situation on the Harrdigor continent, which had experienced quite a number of upheavals such as the dwarves’ abdication from the light alliance and the appearance of the fiends. He was tasked by their lord and creator, Demon King Solomon, with establishing contact with the fiends. It had only been a week since the first team of demons he sent out on an expedition to Harrdigor so it might be a little too early for him to ask about any updates from them. “My lord...it has only been a week. A ship to Harrdigor would take at least 2 weeks or so to arrive…” “Ah...it’s only been a week, huh? I guess I’m getting a little impatient…” “Apologies, sire. Although I cannot give you an update regarding those fiends, may I interest you in this piece of information?” “?” The demon placed a small stack of papers on Bael’s desk and quickly stepped back. Bael picked up a few and read through them. His eyes brightened up and he let out a roar of laughter. “Bwahahaha! Those humans! They’ve basically just delivered them to us on a silver platter!” Bael had just read the news of the humans’ decision regarding their stance against the fiends. Apparently, they were placing them on their enemy list which was just hilarious. The decision was also backed by the humans’ atrocious church and it basically cemented the fiends’ status as a ‘dark’ race which they needed to eliminate. However, with the fiends’ home grounds based in the Harrdigor’s perilous Shifting Hallows, it was going to be hard for the light alliance, particularly the humans, to even make a move on them. The elves and beastmen were still sitting on the fence not announcing their stance on the matter regarding the fiends. It would be another matter if the fiends joined the dark alliance, but this still wasn’t set in stone yet.  Even the demons and other members of the dark alliance didn’t know what the fiends had in mind because they didn’t kill all of the humans that had attacked the dwarves on that fateful day when the humans experienced the bloodiest and most horrifying loss within the last century. 3 kingdoms had fallen while the remaining one, with the aid of the dwarves and fiends, had been able to successfully integrate the other fallen kingdom’s territory into their own and were in a collaborative alliance with both the dwarves and fiends. If the fiends were willing to ally themselves with this human kingdom and the dwarves, the dark alliance couldn’t be sure of what the fiends’ motives were. However, now that the humans decided that the fiends were enemies, it was going to give the demons more leverage in pulling this new race of people over to their side. Rumors had it that the King of the Fiends had a rather devilish form, sporting horns, wings, and other demon-like attributes and he possessed a deep-seated hatred and loathing for the humans.  Due to this, the humans believed that the fiends were just another race of demons that had somehow managed to infiltrate their continent. Of course, the demons didn’t believe this because their creator, Solomon, had only created 66 demons and none of these 66 were called Julius. If their king had indeed created another demon, Bael as well as the other 65 demons would have immediately known about it since every demon had a soul connection with each other. This connection allowed every demon to feel the other and there was obviously no connection between them and the pale demon, as what the humans called him, Julius. “Inform King Solomon about this great piece of news. We’ll soon have a new member in our alliance!” “Yes, my Lord.” The demon subordinate quickly left and Bael dismissed the others who were just about to give him a few documents and reports regarding his territory’s state of affairs. “I wonder if I should go there myself? If I fly, I’ll probably be able to catch up with the ship that’s bound for Harrdigor...yes, that’s what I should do. I’ll just let Caym handle the territory for a bit.” Bael got up from his seat and was about to go meet his brother, Caym, another one of the 66 great demons. He thought that if he personally went there to meet with the King of the Fiends, it would be more convincing than just leaving it to a delegate. “Since he’s professed himself as a ‘king’, there’s no doubt that he’d be rather arrogant and demanding. It’s best if I go and see to this recruitment!” Bael raised a laugh after saying this before he suddenly stepped outside his office room and disappeared in a burst of black smoke. ****** At that very moment, Julius, who was comfortably snuggling with his wife inside their Fiend’s Cradle, had the urge to sneeze but held it in because his wife was exploring his mouth with her tongue. His body suddenly shivered so Eisha stopped and asked, “Is something wrong, honey?” “No...I just had the sudden urge to sneeze.” “Oh? Maybe someone’s talking badly about you!” Eisha frowned and her eyes flashed red.  She didn’t like it if anyone talked bad about her Julius. “C’mon, my love. That’s just a superstition. Now, where were we?” Eisha bit her lips seductively before moving in to continue doing what she was previously doing.  She parted her lips and moved her tongue inside Julius’s mouth, continuing her ‘exploration’.  Eisha searched for Julius’s tongue and once she found it again, she began trying to wrap her tongue around his while letting out cute moans. “Mhm! Mnnnhh~ Hnnmm...” Julius began sucking on Eisha’s lips while she was having fun exploring the insides of his mouth. He savored her sweet-tasting lips and her wriggling tongue in his mouth that was awkwardly trying to pull on his. Before it was always Julius that was the one actively kissing so this time, Eisha wanted to try. “Hehe, I’m getting better, right?” Julius smiled and nodded, “Definitely.”
