It took a day and a night for Julius and his wagon full of people to arrive at the outpost. The outpost was located behind a large hill and it was far away from any settlements. Empress Marina’s pursuers would never be able to find her unless they explored the Vulcan Kingdom’s countryside, which he highly doubted they would.
The outpost was built into a rocky outcrop close to the hill so they had to leave the wagon behind to make it to the outpost.
Naturally, the fiends that Julius had posted here dealt with the carriage and kept it hidden while they made their way down from the hill.
Marina was pregnant so she had a difficult time getting down on her own but Eisha managed to convince her son to carry her down. Julius was put off by this but he reluctantly agreed.
