For better or for worse, what Julius was doing was actually accelerating the resurfacing of the ancient temple. Although the impact was only slight, he was still able to slightly pull the temple up from under the sand inch-by-inch so his efforts weren’t a complete waste of energy and time.
The system was constantly scanning the structure underneath the sand and although he couldn’t see the interior, he was still able to get an exterior image of what lay beneath the sand on his map.
He thought that the structure was small but it actually wasn’t. The temple was large, about 2 times the size of his underground Sanctum floors but it wasn’t expanding to the sides, it continued downwards instead.
