Bael and Cali were overlooking the evacuation of the demon islands since they had arrived just a few days ago.
It was fortunately in sync with the time the human armies had begun gathering at the fortress city near the islands. The city’s port was previously their main docking area for the contracted people from their islands so although they pulled back most of their people from the place so they wouldn’t get caught, there were a few that remained behind as sacrificial pawns to monitor the humans’ movements.
None, however, have been caught yet so it was apparent that the humans’ security was still lacking but they had to go into hiding after a few days once the fortress city became more crowded as the Light Alliance’s forces started gathering in large numbers.
