Eisha’s Thoughts

In the dark, Eisha looked up at the ceiling of the cave and quietly began thinking as she continued to soothingly stroke Julius’s head. She combed her hand gently through his hair remembering that Julius really loved it when she or his nanny did that for him as a child.

The young Prince Julius lacked any parental love or affection from both his parents. Even when he was but an infant, it was Eisha and the prince’s nanny that raised him.

When he grew older, there was a time when the Empress grew fond of the baby Julius but it didn’t last long. Julius displayed a gift for direct mana control even when he was still just a baby. 

He was able to do many things subconsciously as a baby but instead of being praised for it, the Emperor had his talents put under wraps and all the people that knew about it were silenced or kept under strict observation. Sometime after baby Julius displayed his talent that, the Empress, for some reason or another, actually became terrified of him.

Eisha never found the cause of why this happened but Prince Julius severely lacked many things that a normal child should normally have because his parents neglected him. She tried to fill that space, but it wasn’t enough.

When Julius grew up, he always did his best to try and win the affection of the people around him but again, he was shunned. Not because of his own doing, but because the Church of the Holy Light, one of the few state religions of the Empire, had prophesied that he would bring ruin to the Empire if he were to come into power.

It was clearly a prophecy that went against the Emperor’s wishes of installing Julius as crown prince and because of this, the Emperor fell out with the church. The church began to propagate a certain rumor that Julius was an unlucky star of ruin and the believers of the church took it quite seriously and without question or research.

The church’s influence had grown big enough that it could almost overshadow the Emperor’s authority. Many believers of the church began growing discontent with the Emperor’s foolish decision so public dissent was at an all-time high.

Julius, who was still young at the time, had decided to see what it was like outside for once. It should have been a normal experience for any child but not for him. He had been nearly kidnapped by fanatics and was almost killed during the scuffle if not for Eisha.

She, who was still a young child at the time, had stubbornly protected the 5-year old Julius from the fanatics and she was injured. From a young age, Julius already saw and experienced bloodshed. 

It should have traumatized him but it didn’t. Instead, it only made Julius less outgoing and more introverted. He also grew extremely cautious and would always look over his shoulder from time to time even when he only took a walk inside the castle. 

It was also from that moment that Julius stopped caring about his father’s wishes and the people of the Empire. He was young but as he grew up, Julius gradually figured out why people didn’t like him and thought of him negatively.

The only thing he hated most in this world was probably the Church of Light along with the blind believers who worshipped it.

At least, that’s what Eisha thought he would be like. Instead, he was indifferent about the church and its believers. If he did care, Julius would have pushed to become the Crown Prince. Then, once he was Emperor, he’d expel the church from the Empire along with the people who were connected with the church.

That’s what any other Emperor would do, but Julius just didn’t care. Instead, he holed himself up inside the castle doing and learning whatever he pleased.

He planned to someday run away from the castle and become an adventurer. This was the dream that Julius continued telling Eisha but now, she just heard a wish that she’s never heard Julius speak about before.

“Crushing the world and shaping it into one that suits him…”

Eisha knew that it sounded wrong but she knew all too well the experiences her prince had to go through. It seemed like the entire world was against him. Earlier, she said that she would stand by his side even if that was so but since he wanted to crush it and mold it into something that accepted him, Eisha was going to support her prince through all of it.

Eisha was but a maid and Julius was only a thrown away prince. The two didn’t have the power or abilities to do what Julius wanted but things had changed. Eisha knew it because of the glowing screen floating in front of her face.

Eisha didn’t know what exactly this was, but it was related to the connection that she felt with her prince. She had just discovered this earlier when she decided that she would stand by her prince no matter what he did.

It was like she gained access to something deeper and the connection between her and Julius had strengthened. Whatever this thing was, Eisha knew that it would help her bring about the wishes of her prince.

Whether it was evil or not, Eisha didn’t care. As long as it was able to help her become someone that could help her prince then all else didn’t matter. When they were attacked earlier and she had almost died, it was all due to her powerlessness.

Now that she somehow got a second chance, Eisha greatly desired to be more useful to Julius and would pay any cost to acquire power and abilities that will make her like that.

“I’ll check what these are later, but right now…”

Eisha looked down at the boy, who was now a young man as of today, sleeping soundly on her chest. Julius’s face practically stuffed in between her mounds and one of them was dangerously close to his mouth. 

The prince’s breath tickled her cherry and she noticed that it was the mound that the prince had fondled earlier. He had been squeezing it hard earlier so there was still a faint trace of his fingers on her breast. The age of adulthood in the Ephalerith Empire is 15 so today, Prince Julius had turned 15 while Eisha, who was 3 years older, was already 18. However, since she was the Prince’s maid, she had to keep her purity for when the Prince’s desires finally burst out. Although she considered Julius to be her little brother and felt that it was wrong for them to do the deed but she was anticipating it since they weren’t actually siblings and there was nothing wrong with it.

Eisha, who had just recently been integrated into the collective consciousness was immediately placed among the high ranks because she possessed her own mind before being integrated and it was due to Julius’s subconscious wishes.

Eisha was currently in ‘need’ of something so the homunculus reacted to that strong thought and was going to help her. The small homunculus moved closer to Eisha and knelt beside her. Its arms began to elongate and move towards Eisha’s body.

Eisha could immediately understand what its intentions were, she wanted to stop the homunculus but seeing that its face resembled her prince so much she hesitated for a moment.

However, that moment was enough for the homunculus’s tentacle-like arms to reach Eisha’s body. They quickly wriggled around her without touching Julius. Eisha gasped in surprise and excitement when they quickly reached her wet v****a.

A tentacle was about to insert itself inside Eisha, but the maid quickly felt this and glared at the homunculus. Even though it did look like her prince, it wasn’t Julius however. That special place was reserved for her prince and the homunculus quickly understood.

It didn’t back off, however. Instead, of trying to insert its tentacle arm inside her, the homunculus changed its arm’s shape and lightly pressed it against her v****a. Eisha quickly felt the transformed hand sucking on her flower. This was exactly what she wanted and it stimulated her even more as she secreted more fluids from her hole.

A blanket of darkness had already engulfed the world outside the cave as the Shifting Hallows’ monsters came out of their dens.
