MEDICAL CONFERENCEJamie entered the conference building not far from her hotel and signed in. She picked up a program and wandered over to a table covered with everything needed to make tea and coffee. Making herself a cup of coffee, she introduced herself to other doctors and a few nurses then made her way to a chair at a round table covered with a black tablecloth. She took out a pen and notebook, her eyes staring up at the speaker whose topic was about the latest updates on cardiovascular disease, risk assessment, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation.
