DRINKS RESPITEOn Sunday the next day, Jamie was invited out for drinks. Given that she would be among friends, Angelo reiterated that she should call him once she got home.
Jamie was walking along Bourke Street in the city with Bella, Liz, Gabriella, and Joy, eventually stepping into the drinks bar. The interior of the place was small and featured instant turf on either side of an orange concrete path leading to the terrace. Floral couches surrounded the interior against peach walls. High-back floral benches and matching low-back padded chairs rested on the turf, with an interior bar in the corner. As they approached the terrace outside, Jamie stepped along boarded flooring to the bar situated to the side of wooden benches which stood opposite metal-backed chairs.
