CONNECTIONAfter her friends left, Jamie sat back against the couch, closing her eyes briefly. She needed a distraction from the images still playing around in her mind. She had a ton of research notes to look over, as she had been working on improved treatments for Parkinson’s Disease. She had come across many patients with the disease and it broke her heart to see the degenerative nature of the condition. Her mental and physical fatigue made it impossible as she peered at her phone to look at the time. She needed to leave for her mother’s place shortly to find out about her father’s trial.
