Trying to keep my face neutral during the party is not easy. Winter immediately told me Nyx had contacted her telepathically. My mate keeps nothing from me, and I love her so much for that. We’re always on the same page, making things easier for us. Communication between mates is the key.
However, I have never been as angry as I am right now. I haven’t worked out how that psychotic bit.ch was able to break through the block I put on Winter’s mind to stop this happening. But I’m going to kill her in the worst way!
I let my brothers know what was happening. I won’t take any chances with Winter’s safety. I understand Winter is capable of taking care of herself. But she is my mate, carrying my child, and nothing is more important to me than them.
