LEVI

271 Words
A few streets away from Nelsee's apartment, a college going boy, with glasses on, was frantically typing on his keyboard.  He whispered to himself, “...would appreciate a response from you. Regards Levi.. aaand.. Send!” Levi was a geek of sorts and was desperate for an internship.  As a timid boy from childhood, he used to drown himself in his books and barely spoke to anyone. Levi was a believer of science and detested everything that did not convince him with a scientific reasoning.  His parents had always been quite detached from him. Levi sensed some friction between his parents at a very young age. But he could never get to know what was wrong.  Levi considered himself as being brought up by the pages he grew up reading. These pages are what built his beliefs and personality. He grew up to be a pragmatic adult and a deep thinker who always wanted to expand his boundaries of knowledge.  The only way he could get to do that was by joining an organisation that could give him scope to apply his knowledge more specifically. Levi thought to himself,” Even though I have barely spent a day in college attending classes, if I land this internship I can build myself on this foundation. “ Levi sighed and closed his laptop, leaned back on his chair and stretched. It was 6pm and it was time for Levi to get started with his college assignment.  The thought of going to college just for the sake of it annoyed him to the core, however, that was the only way he could get away from the tension in the air in his house that remained unaddressed.
