It whispered, urging them to move quicker, but each step became heavier than the last as dread hung over their heads. There is only but the howl of the wind once outside, but none of them could even relax the tension that wrapped around them like a vice as they feel a heavy gaze trained on them. It beckoned them all the way to the back of the mansion, the place even more of a ruin compared to the front. White, marble heads of statues depicting gargoyles and serpents scattered all over the pathway, and shrubs with thorns decorated the ground.
