Healing from darkness

Rackgul was thrown into a cell next to other monsters, shackled down Rackgul thought about what was worse Hell or prison. Rackgul was never really was seen as smart by his peers and other demons but Rackgul knew he had to find a way out of this cell. The demon tried to pull at the bars with all his strength but the bars were to strong. Hopelessness befell Rackgul looking down in sadness to see a slime that stood only a foot from the ground. This confused the demon but as the random slime climbed the bars and then went into the lock with its gelatinous body to unlock it, Rackgul felt relieved for the first time since he arrived there. Rackgul exited the cell then asked the slime if it can speak English. The slime nibbled at Rackgul’s leg and in response the slime was kicked at the wall *splat*, *Rackgul looked at his leg to see a part of skin had been disintegrated* what the hell! *The slime removed himself from the wall* ow…wait I don’t have a nervous system the slime say. You can talk?! Why did you do that, Rackgul asked. Every time I digest a certain amount of something I gain an attribute, I couldn’t talk before I did that the slime says. Ok… do you have a name Rackgul asks the Slime. I don’t have a name most slimes don’t because most don’t have a relationship with their parents the slime responds. Well let’s get get going out of here Rackgul says. Wait help me get more friends out of here the slime says. Friends, do you know some of these people Rackgul asks. No, I guess I ate someone who has high morales then gained that attribute the slime responds . Unlucky slime, fine if it gets me out here I’ll do pretty much anything, I’m sick of not having freedom! Rackgul follows the slime to another cell to an animated skeleton. They stop next to the cell with the skeleton, it doesn’t notice them distracted with feeling bad for itself. The humans have put me in this prison to know each cell is personalized for each captive, I was just lucky enough that the guards forgot to lock my door after they checked on me the slime says to Rackgul. Rackgul looks at the skeleton then at the door,he kicks it down the iron door. *Surprising the skeleton and the slime* He literally has no muscles, it does not take a genius to realize it’s just magic proof Rackgul says. Did I know you people the skeleton asks confused towards the two other monsters. You got be kidding me you have dementia rackgul asks the skeleton. I think you mean amnesia but i guess that works in this case the slime says. I think that what I have I don’t remember the skeleton says. Great another person who doesn’t know their name, this not going to get confusing at all Rackgul says. Free as many captives as you can, after we meet up at the exit or just short of it the slime says to the 2. You’re too too trusting, if we let out everyone we see we are definitely going to get killed Rackgul says. I took the same chance on you and I’m still alive the slime says to Rackgul. Let’s meet in the middle, free 1 or 2 the Skeleton speaks up. The demon and the slime reluctantly agree to free 2 of monsters imprisoned but Rackgul adds one condition the skeleton and the slime are going to work on freeing 2 captives, while he scouts ahead. Rackgul splits from the group going into the next room. Rackgul gets spotted as soon as he enters the room by two guards next to a closed door wearing white helmets and holding spears. They look upon Rackgul with a mix of fear and disgust. The bigger of two charge at Rackgul letting out a battle roar impaling Rackgul in the shoulder. Rackgul does not falter even for a moment despite the pain and delivers a headbutt to the guard that attacked him. The guard that received the headbutt, fell to the ground while the spear is still lunged into Rackgul’s shoulder. The other guard is clearly shaken up but still hesitantly runs and tries to strike at Rackgul’s neck with his spear. Rackgul catches the spear and winds up a punch but the guard stands up from ground then grabs Rackgul’s arm. Do something the bloody guard yells at the other guard. The guard facing Rackgul almost passes out just from stress alone from trying to figure out how deal with Rackgul. The guard decides to run away, dropping his spear to move faster and scurried over key to no avail. The other guard is furious but before he speaks Rackgul punches the side of face of the guard breaking his neck with the force of the punch. If their’s I hate most in this world is a coward, leaving your ally is shameful and especially after he tried to give you an opportunity to “beat” me. He doesn’t respond to Rackgul just goes faster and more desperate to open the door. Rackgul takes the spear out of his shoulder then impales the guard through his chest with spear, making him spit up blood and after about a minute or so the guard succumbs to his wounds. Rackgul smiled at the dead body but then he looks at the wound realizing taking out the spear in his shoulder was a very wrong thing to do. The loss of blood scares the brave and sadistic Rackgul as he tries to stop the bleeding but with no medical tracing it’s futile. Rackgul slumps to the ground, vision becomes blurry then he goes unconscious. Rackgul’s eyes flutter open and he see both of his arm restricted by hellish steel to a piece of rectangular wood. Looking around, Rackgul surroundings is a castle with multiple torture devices. Then Rackgul looks outside the window sending a shiver down his spine, seeing dead bodies on the street and mostly everything’s on fire. The demon begins pointlessly struggling against the restraints. A shadowy figure enters the room with tweezers. Stay back Rackgul yells at the shadowy figure. The shadowy figure grins and approaches. As the tweezes are almost touching his face Rackgul closes his eyes. Then Rackgul’s eyes open to a Tiefling, little girl with a floating book. Everything is where it was previously including Rackgul still bleeding on the floor. The Tiefing is slowly healing Rackgul’s bloody wound. Looking at his surroundings he sees the Tiefling, a tall orc, the skeleton and the slime. After the Tiefling is done healing Rackgul, he stands up. I know the human were a bunch of losers but they actually have the gull to imprison a little monster and with adult monsters Rackgul says to the room. I’ve known for what 30 minutes and you already come off as ungrateful Rackgul, the skeleton says. My name is lillith Mr. Demon she says clearly intimated by the demon’s large stature. Lilith the demon says out loud seeing how the name sounds from his own mouth. I think that was my mother’s name i don’t really know, I didn’t really know Rackgul states to Lilith. Before Lilith can respond the door opens, in comes a long haired human guy with his hair color being light blue in formal wear. The man looks at the monsters with indifference then back at the door then closes it and begins approaching the group, his sword on his hip. This is bad, I remember this guy, he’s the one who captured me Rackgul says. The man dashes at Rackgul, making the demon brace himself but the knight with the name Swin on his sword goes past Rackgul now clearly heading towards Lilith. Lilith makes a magic force field in time but Swin easily breaks it with a punch then gets ready to strike with his sword. The orc (changeling) changes into a large kingsnake pulling Lilith out the way just in time. A water person that looks like Swin appears next to the two and explodes sending the two back affecting Lilith worse then the changeling because water is like poison to demons. The slime goes after Swin, slime gets instantly cut down but then goes back together. While Swin is distracted with slime the Skeleton casts a fire bolt at the knight, the magic connects with Swin but barely damages him. Rackgul is hesitant to get in fight but takes a deep breath and smiles. Here I come you, noble prick Rackgul yells.
