Bearing the Alpha's Legacy

Chapter 1 Elyana woke up with a spring to her steps, today was going to be an important day in her life,she clocked eighteen today and was expected to get her wolf in the evening during the ritual for the age group in Shallow Waters Pack. Getting to the kitchen she met her sister,Luna Susan,her father and mother talking about tonight's event. Happy seeing her sister, Elyana said "what are you doing here very early in the morning?" looking up Susan saw her and smiled, "silly.....is today not your birthday?" she said hugging her, Elyana replied," "Yes, it is, but I didn't expect to see you here so early." "Well I couldn't wait to see you," Susan said. Clearing his throat their father said "happy birthday my darling girl" Elyana ran to her father to hug and kiss him, she turned likewise to their mother who already had tears in her eyes seeing her baby all grown up. "May you always be happy my baby,may the Goddess bless you with the most beautiful wolf this evening" Their mother whispered into her ears. Elyana looked forward to seeing the type of wolf she would get from the Goddess. The family started opening gifts and Elyana soon forgot about her wolf and was swamped in the euphoria of gifts opening. The door bell rang and Carolina said "Susan get the door,will you?" the Luna nodded and opened the door. Raquel,a brunette with a lovely hair and perfect face came inside,greeting the Luna with respect and also their parents, she ran to where her friend was seated to jump on her and sing in her not so melodious voice a happy birthday song. Everyone laughed out at the two friends.... glancing at the wall clock in the kitchen, Elyana's mom said "time is far spent and Elyana needs to go and freshen up. "Yes.... that reminds me, Nathanael is supposed to pick me up here" said Susan. "The Alpha's coming here?" Their parents said together. "Yes he is " " Elyana you need to go upstairs to bath now" she shooed Elyana out of the kitchen while Raquel followed her upstairs, ascending the stairs,the two friends could be heard chatting away excitedly,once inside her room, Elyana stripped down to her undies and turned to admire her shape in the full length mirror. Looking from the crown of her head with her long brown tresses to her sea-blue eyes to her full boobs, flat stomach and a quite curvy pair of hips to her legs, Raquel looked at her appraising herself she shook her head slightly and said the first thing that came to her mind. "Do you know you are a vain girl? standing there gazing at your shape,there are people with finer curves than you in this pack" she joked "I know but my shape is nice too,and I've not finished growing" Elyana said Rolling her eyes, Raquel said "go and have your bath." Elyana scoffed and entered the bathroom to have her bath. When she came out of the bathroom her friend had already picked clothes for her to wear,they both do that often for each other. On the bed was a boyfriend Jean and a mesh top. Elyana said "I know I could count on you to deliver" Raquel smiled and said "I know your taste in clothing." Elyana nodded in agreement,they could already hear Elyana's mom calling for them downstairs to hurry up,this prevented Elyana from saying what she had wanted to say,she dressed up quickly. In Elyana's subconscious mind, she knew she heard someone drove into their driveway and rang the door bell but she didn't say anything to her best friend, opening her room door about to descend the stairs,she perceived a very distinct scent which stirred her senses and inside,but before she could react they were already downstairs in the living room, where she felt was crowded because her parents and sister were not alone, the Alpha( her sister's husband) was there with Damon his Beta, both she and her friend smiled at the Beta,but did not look at the Alpha in the eye. They looked down baring their necks, and chorused in unison "good morning Alpha" he replied sternly but his gaze lingered on Elyana's t**s a little longer before he cautioned himself. "Nathanael is here to drive me to the orientation, said Susan... I guess we all can go together" Elyana was about to reject the offer when the Alpha said "let's go" No one even waited to ask if she wanted to go with them Her mother slipped the already packed food she made for her by the door and kissed her goodbye. Beta Damon was going to be driving,while the Alpha was sitting at the front,the Luna, Raquel and Elyana were at the back seats of the car,watching the scenery as the car raced on. Elyana was reminded of the scent that her nose caught earlier, wondering if the scent belongs to the Beta, although she finds the Beta boyish features very pleasant she wasn't expecting the air to bring his scent to her. Nathanael was having a tug of war with his wolf "Shadow" since he perceived the scent when Elyana and her friend were coming down the stairs, he doesn't know who the scent belongs to between Elyana and her friend. This was messing with his mind and he felt guilty also for smelling another woman's scent aside from that of his Luna. Shadow became very cranky, which was not lost on his dear friend and Beta,he was surprised and looked at the Alpha, Nathanael saw the look and they both opened their own private mind link. "Alpha, why do I feel as if Shadow is feeling cagey?" the Alpha gruffly said "I don't know what is wrong with him,he picked up a scent at the house and started acting weird" in reply Damon said "maybe because of the ceremony tonight" Nathanael nodded in agreement and let the issue slide.
