I new this was inevitable but I hoped it was going to come later then it had but then again we don't always get what we hope for. After I left the great room I went to my bedroom and just as I had thought everything was intact. I decided to take a bathe then get started on my work

" what are we going to do about this?" Mike asked when I entered back into the bedroom "I just want to get back to my daily life, I don't want anything to do with this" I told him though he knew this already. “ that's not ..” I glared at him in warning daring him to finish his statement. “ okay fine, what are you up to?” he asked pointing at the laptop I had in my hand when I set on the couch. “ I'm working, obviously and I don't want any disturbance,” I could feel his stare as I typed into the computer determined to finish all the paperwork for the day I hadn't evn notice him leave. “ yes?" I said into the phone annoyed for being disturbed . “ sir, I was wondering when you would come in today? It's passed three already and the clients are getting frustrated ,” Melody my assistant said

“ cancel all the meetings for the next week or two I wont be in,” I told her “ you should learn to be polite sometimes ,” mom said when I hung up, she came and stood in the sitting area. “ says the woman who almost ruined my arm,” I mentioned for her to take a sit next to me “ I'm guessing you didn't just come her to watch me work did you?” I asked trying to break the uncomfortable silence, I waited for her to speak but when she didn't I continued “ if you are expecting me to say I'm sorry then you're wasting your time. I wont because I'm not.” She raised her eyes to look at me “ we needed you , our people needed a leader and you left us without even saying a word” she accused. Her accusation wasn't baseless I had been wrong to not say goodbye but I needed to get away. “ I was deteriorating mom, I almost died from the power out burst but I don't expect you to know or even understand that as you were busy trying to play the all strong and victorious leaders . I needed time to recover besides the last time I checked dad was king and not me,” she was crying by the time I had finished talking “ you should have said something” she said “ we could have helped you” she can't be serious right now “ oh please mom, you didn't even bother to look for me after the war ended. I had stack around for over a month but none of you even came to check on me. This is your war not mine and I'm not taking part in it,” I stood up and left the room leaving the door open. I went to look for Mike or Leo which ever I would find first. I know I didn't give her a chance to talk but I'm not sure if there's any excuse for neglecting your own child and I didn't want to hear it “ there you are,” I said as I approached Leo who was sitting on a bench in the garden “ what brought you back?” she asked leaning her head on my shoulder “ not happy to see me?” I teased

“ of cause I am. Just wondering why you would come back after all you had been through, I wouldn't if it was me,”

“you talk as if I had a choice but I'm not planning to stay long either ,” I told her hesitantly not sure how she would take it . The last thing I want to do is hurt her, I would do anything her with out a thought honestly “ so, you are going to stick around?” she asked

“You want me to?” she shook her head before answering “No, I won't ask that of you. I just want to know if I will see you again,”

“ of cause you will, I'm not leaving just yet. now am starving let's go get something to eat " I told her and laughed when she heard my stomach growling " let's go to the kitchen I'm sure we'll find something for eat"
