Back To Where We Had Left

"Saturday, 26th Nov 1442 Since I had gotten what I need to restart back and recollect what I had missed, let us start with the situation at hand first. As of now, Aerin, daughter of Aragorn, The Great Elven King was now were treated in our hospital. She would be attended by Priestess Isabela who would be regenerating the lost limb due to the grievous injuries sustained earlier. "Isabela, we would not take too much of your time here since Aerin had already woken up from her coma and you would then resume your work on her, am I right?" I inquired Priestess Isabela who was wheeling the medicine trolley nearer to the bed. It seemed that she needs to be alone once she starts on her regeneration work. "That's right, Your Majesty. Before I assume, I would like everyone to clear the room so I would be able to concentrate fully on the task at hand. At least I would not regenerate the wrong type of limb and would end up giving Aerin a crow's foot in the end. Hahaha...!!!" Everyone laughed as Priestess Isabela was able to c***k a joke at a time like this. Aerin, on the other hand, was not laughing along with us. She would not dare to have such feet at all...!!! Everyone walked out from the ward and assembled at the main waiting area just near to the staircase landing. "Oh, Alright, then. Isabela is now attending to Aerin. We should concentrate on the task at hand. Rest assured that Aerin would be in the best of hands. Besides, we are not in this kind of field so we would let Aerin be as comfortable as she could get right now." I announced to the group as Aragorn looked the most grateful since Aerin was his only daughter. Only at home would Aerin be allowed to address Aragorn as Father and be seen as The Great Elven King in the public's eye. "Audemars, I would not be staying here much longer. Once the shipment is complete, I would take my leave. I would gather the expert forgers once I had reached back to my town. They would be reporting to you directly within a few days. Would that be fine with you?" Doc asked as he looked at me and gave a stubby thumbs up. "Aye, that sounds great to me. I am sure that you would be bringing with you the mithril blacksmithing tools, am I right? That would improve the efficiency for one to forge those mithril pieces for us to design improved armour platings." I replied to Doc as he excused himself back to the ground floor himself. "I too would be leaving soon right after. I would need to bring the runes tutorial books and other materials to teach my new students here. I would take my leave together with Doc, would that be alright with you, His Majesty?" Perky Toe Bells, the gnome, also saluted to me like a soldier as it relates to me what it had in mind. I too saluted back in return as it made its way towards where Doc had gone. The only left was Aragorn, Amadeus and Artemis and my two children as we made our way down to the domain after bidding farewell to Aerin. Aerin would soon be under sedation as the treatment for the regeneration done by Priestess Isabela would not be hindered in any way. When we had reached the ground floor, Doc and Perky had already gone back to where they had come. Phoenix and Eagle returned with the updated census populace book and handed it to Heather for safekeeping. Heather leafed through it and discovered that the induction of the new inductees had added quite a substantial amount of new residents to the community. "Dear, let me take the children back home since the delivery of those ores had already been completed. I don't think there would be any kinds of work for these two little children to do over there. Besides, the new propellers for 911 Lightning would be affixed by now and would test for its functionality." Heather pointed out to me as I made a sound in my throat as a sign of acknowledgement. Amadeus, Aragorn and Artemis were standing at the sides were wondering what I would be dealing with next since everyone had gone back to attend to their tasks. "Alright you guys, come on and let's head down to the Greasy Spoon where we can discuss further on our plans right after our meals." I gestured to them as their eyes lit up at the mention of food. I laughed inwardly and smiled at them as we walked towards the main square to the double-storeyed restaurant. It seems that food would be the best answer one could receive to start things rolling. =*= Phoenix and Eagle joined us at the Greasy Spoon as they listened to what was being narrated by Amadeus on his intent to pledge his allegiance to us. We had quite a spread and had the famous crispy flatbread that is famous throughout the lands as it came in many other flavours this time. There were other dishes served like garlic fried rice, seafood, eggs and other barbequed meat. In this town, the community knew that their leader could walk the streets and eat together publicly. The troubadours were accompanying us throughout our meals as the main vocalist were singing the praises and achievements of the territorial king named Audemars Macleod. The moment I realised what they were blabbering about, I laughed at the troubadours' antics. When Aragorn asked me what I was laughing out loud, I said, "Those troubadours were teasing me and telling all kind of untrue stories about me. Hahaha...! Don't mind them, they are all Assassins in disguise." When Aragorn heard this, he was surprised and taken aback since he does not anticipate that anyone in the community could be a warrior of some sort when the need arises. Even Amadeus was equally surprised and was delighted to find that this town was being in full protection in all corners. Even our Assassins do share some similar traits like a Rogue class wood elve adventurer. "Tell me abit of yourself, Amadeus. Do you have siblings or parents travelling with you? And why are you a Fighter class wood elf as well as what makes one special?" Phoenix inquired Amadeus since he was interested to know more about their specialities. "Ahem... We are just like the rest of the human fighters. We do not innate any magical skills, but we could learn those that you had taught the archers and Guardian knights. They too were not with any magical skills at all, am I right?" Amadeus explained as we listened intently. "Audemars, a Fighter-class wood elf adventurer is known to have a secret identity. They may carry an added weapon with them such as a longbow, an axe and even a thrusting sword known as a rapier. This sub-race can conceal his race and would be able to forge documents. These include any official papers and letters as long as he had seen the kind of documents. Even the handwriting, once he had seen, could be copied." Ceres gave me a heads-up on the inner traits of the wood elf adventurer telepathically. I thanked her for her assistance. "We also carry not only the signature Longbow that we crafted ourselves, but we wield a small hand axe as well. Here, this thrusting sword is part of our armoury as well. We deal long-range and close-quarter combat with the enemies." "After knowing His Majesty for some time, I have decided that its time to break down some barriers. We had decided to make friends with those around His Majesty instead." "Any friends of His Majesty would be our friends too. As you can see, having friends before would be a liability for us." "Years of hiding had made us somewhat paranoid as we don't simply trust anyone." "We also do not have a habit of talking about ourselves. Our business is none of yours." "But we have to drop those that I had mentioned as an overall leader of the Wood Elf Adventurers matters would start afresh." I smiled and nodded my head in acknowledgement as I approve on what I was hearing. I had known that there would be some mythical races that would shun the human race while at the same time, others would be open to us as well. The rest of them bobbed their heads when they heard what Amadeus had opened up to them as it was surely going to be a good sign for all. Getting a collaboration of additional fighters, rangers and rogues would mean a great deal to the current military force. "We would be using our longbows but would adapt using your concussive explosive arrowheads as well as those armour-piercing ones, His Majesty." Amadeus highlighted to me and noted that it would not make much difference. The only thing was that the wood elves adventurers need to pull their drawstring at only 90% since our arrows were a tad shorter than theirs. "I would be designing a new set of studded leather armours that Phoenix and Eagle are wearing now. It would be our standard-issue since we need something sturdier to withstand their filthy spit. It would be strong enough to withstand a bite from those hellhounds. We do not want our armies to suffer the same consequences." "We understand that the elves race would prefer to have light cloth armour, but this would not be able to block a dagger's attack. However, maybe you could pass me a set of your armour you are wearing and see if I could substitute it for something better." I suggested since my fusion chamber in the realm could fuse these cloth armours with steel mesh underneath it. "That would be a great idea, His Majesty. We wood elves adventurers prefer something light so we would be able to move with ease and does not hamper our agility. Your studded leather armours looked cool as it may weigh us down since we travel on foot most of the time." Amadeus explained about the studded leather armours that both Phoenix and Eagle were wearing. It looked a bit stiff and would affect the agility of these wood elves adventurers so it would be best if I could redesign something for them instead. "Your previous life as Robyn Hode was able to make a multilayered steel mesh under armour apparel. I think you could try to mesh these steel plates first since each of the plates weighed about two pounds." Ceres highlighted to me as I subconsciously nodded my head in acknowledgement. "Alright then, change of plan then. I would try to mesh something for these guys then." I replied telepathically to Ceres as we continued our discussion through the evening. =*= "Mummy... When would Daddy be home? We are getting hungrier already." HRH JR was rolling about on the living room floor and was biting on his bolster that he had brought down from his room. He was behaving as if the bolster was some sort sausage roll and was gnawing at it. HRH Amy was clamouring on the sofa and was licking at the wall as if it was chocolate...! Both children were showing their tantrum of a typical two-year-olds despite having the ability to converse like adults. Hahaha...!!! Heather looked at them and shook her head. It must have been the genes of the father as she knew she was not like that when she threw any tantrum. "Hello, everyone...! I am back. Sorry to be late and to keep everyone waiting. Come on, let's head for dinner now...!" I poked my head through the door and hollered out, and this put the children to attention. They cheered, and one hid the bolster as another wiped her mouth to hide the evidence. I laughed at them since they tried to look cool in front of me.
