Christabel’s POV

The Alpha’s Secret Breeder

Yeah, you guessed right. Linny knew no other person that could keep a secret like me. Even though it hurt her deeply to share her mate with me, she needed to do this to preserve her position. The elders were pressing him to take their daughters as concubines. The one who gave birth to a son would automatically become the Luna.

I could vividly remember the night I spent with Alpha Bryan. I had never expected such a day would come. It struck me as odd.

“I have always like you, you know…” he told me carefully. “For the first time, you have bathed cleanly. Your mistress must have always told you not to wash your face and hair properly, huh.”

“I am a maid…” I replied. “I am not supposed to be close to you, my Lord. If I have a smelly hair and a messy face, won’t it be easier?”

“I presume,” he replied.

There was static silence. I was seated on the same bed with Alpha Bryan but we were separated by a big margin. We could talk like this since Linny was not in the room with us. She was in her own room and I could guess that she would be writhing in pain and agony. I had to be fast here.

“Please go ahead and let me leave, my Lord. My mistress will be waiting for me by now…” I told him carefully. I was hasty here.

“Don’t bother…” he replied calmly. “I won’t let you go back to Linny. I learned she used to beat you up. What if I get you pregnant and she beats you up to the point where you lose the baby? I have provided a separate room for you already. You will serve me every night for the next three months. You should be pregnant by then.”

This shocked me. I counted this as a form of betrayal and I fell on my knees.

“I can’t do this…” I cried. “Please don’t let me do this, my Lord. I can’t betray my mistress.”

“Shh!” he shunned me. “Linny is aware of this as well. Do you think you are something more than a breeder? Your child won’t call you ‘mother’ even once. It will be Linny’s child. You will be sent away from the mansion afterwards and you will be unable to see the child even from a distance.”

I shook in fear.

“I know…” I replied. My hand was shaking. The thought was terrible. I couldn’t imagine how it would feel to have a child whom will never know me as his mother.

Alpha Bryan was more hasty than me. He rushed towards me and tore off my clothes. I didn’t resist at all. I let him do what he had to do without making a sound. I looked a particular line in the ceiling all through.

When he eventually pulled out, he hit my leg.

“Not even a sound on you when I was trying all my best…” he said shortly. “How come when you are a virgin?”

I was shedding tears here.

“I have no emotions to part away with no any sound to make. I have counted it as a punishment. It is more painful than that actually,” I replied. I stood up and tried to walk away but I had an unusual feeling in between my thighs. I felt a lot of discomfort. I had to be strong as I walked away from him.

And that was how things actually went. I ended up having my own freedom for a while as Alpha Bryan’s secret breeder. For the first time in my life, I was not bullied, I was fed healthy meals, and treated like a queen. But then, I knew I would end up having to give birth and then my child would be collected from me. Linny could have me killed to keep the secret forever.

Solely because of this, I started using some drugs as precautions. It was done secretly. I didn’t want to get pregnant at all. I knew what I was in for. It finally came after three months when I was unable to get pregnant. I was demoted from that high position back to a miserly maid. This was heartbreaking but it happened.

I was dragged out of the kitchen to the hall by the guards. I knew what would happen to me here. Alpha Bryan was on his throne and Linny was with me. She had hated me after I was unable to give birth for her husband. Alpha Bryan took another concubine because of that.

“This lowly maid, Christabel, hit the butler of this mansion with a plate. There are three crimes involved…” I heard the in-house prosecutor say. “She used vulgar language on the butler who is her superior, she hit him and wounded him on his head with the plate, and lastly, the plate is that of the Alpha’s grandmother. It is the personal plate that her food was usually served. It is broken now.”

I was shocked. I never thought before I picked up the plate I hit it on the butler’s head. I was in a very big trouble here. The punishment would be higher than I expected.

I could see Alpha Bryan close his eyes.

“My grandmother’s plate has been broken. That is a joke, right?” Alpha Bryan asked carefully. I knew how much he valued that.

I saw Linny step out.

“I got a good grasp of the situation already, my Lord…” Linny said carefully. “This morning was the sacrifice for your grandmother’s death. It was her remembrance and the plate was used. I instructed the butler personally to select a meticulous maid to do the dishes but he ended up picking Christabel. Both of them needs to be punished and by death, my Lord.”

I had no defence. I had to help myself.

“I was wrong…” I cried. “The butler hit my butt and insulted my past with you, my Lord. I took it in for a long time but I lost control. I would never use that plate if I knew it was your grandmother’s own.”

“I have nothing to say…” Alpha Bryan replied. “If I judge here, I will be considered as an evil Alpha who has no mercy. I will leave it up to my Luna.”

This was more scary.

Alpha Bryan went out with his entourage. I was alone with Linny and the prosecutor. From the look of things, the prosecutor was working for Linny.

“That butler should be killed…” Linny said carefully. “Have the men execute him publicly.”

“How about this wench?” the prosecutor asked.

“Leave her to me…” Linny replied slowly. “I have experience in dealing with circumstances like this. She doesn’t need to be killed at all. I will rather sell her off. I will make profit that way.”

I took a deep breath.

I didn’t know if I was supposed to be happy or sad here.
