Back So Soon?

              Seeing Ian when Keegan walked him through the door, my heart skipped a beat. I know Ian is tough and would never admit it, but I could tell he was struggling and in a lot of pain, I could feel it. I was glad when Damien told me to bring him to the hospital.

              I pulled up to the entrance and handed the keys to the valet to go park the car. I helped Ian inside the door to find Dr. Williams waiting there with a wheelchair.

“Luna” Dr. Williams said with a bow, “I didn’t expect to see you so soon but at least it is not you who I am waiting on today.”

“It’s nice to see you again Dr. Williams, I’m afraid it’s Ian this time who has found himself in some trouble.”

“I can see that, Beta Ian will you please have a seat.” Dr. Williams said gesturing for Ian to sit down in the wheelchair

“I’m not getting in that thing, I can walk.” He said with a groan.

I turned around and standing up on my tiptoes I whispered into Ian’s ear. “If you do what Dr. Williams asks, I promise I will make it up you when I get you back home.”

“Uggg fine.” He said as he reluctantly sat down.

              Dr. Williams took us into the elevator, and I was a little surprised when he scanned his badge and hit the top floor button taking us to the private Alpha Suite.

“Where are we going?” Ian asked

“The Alpha Suite, Alpha Damien insisted”

              We arrived at the private floor to find a loan nurse waiting for us to assist Dr. Williams; she introduced herself as nurse Kaitlyn. She helped get Ian onto the bed, and after starting an IV she helped Dr. Williams take several X-rays.

              This nurse helped Dr. Williams removed Ian’s shirt and was getting way to comfortable touching Ian and ‘inspecting’ his wounds. I swear I could smell her arousal as she cut his shirt off of him. She was definitely eye f*****g him all the way up his chest, but I noticed her eyes immediately went to the floor in shame once she saw he was marked. Good! One more second and I was going to throw her out of the room. 

“I’ll say that whoever’s handy work this is, they certainly knew what they were doing.”

“I would hope so” Ian replied with a wince

“You have multiple fractures and breaks, a few of these will need to be reset so the bones can heal properly. The rest will take some time. I’m going to give you some medication to help with the pain while I reset these.”

“Kaitlyn, would you please draw up 200mcg of Fentanyl and 10mg of Midazolam.”

              She drew up the medications and stood by ready to assist.

“I’ll take those Kaitlyn, thank you. You can return to your rounds, I’ll let you know if I need any further assistance.”

“But Doctor are you sure? These breaks require two people to help apply leverage?”

“I’m fully aware; the Luna here can help me if I need any assistance.”

              She looked a little confused but then left the room without another word to return back to her floor.

“I thought you guys would appreciate some privacy.” Dr. Williams said smiling over at me

“Yes, thank you”

“Alright Ian, I’m not gonna lie, this is going to be more painful than getting them broken but if I don’t realign the bones, they will take much longer to heal properly. I’ll give you something to help with the pain and try to work as quickly as I can.”

“Just do what you need to do doc.” Ian reached out for me, and I took his hand into mine.

“Alright Luna, if you would please. I’ll need you to help to apply some counter pressure.”

              The next 20 minutes seemed like hours as Dr. Williams moved and relocated several of his broken bones to help them heal. Ian cried out through gritted teeth a few times with the pain. He was sweaty and panting, I can only imagine how much it hurt. Once his bones were set, he turned his attention to one of his cuts and put in a few sutures to help the skin close.

“Alright, well I would recommend you just rest for a bit before you leave.”

“Thanks doc.”

“Luna, since you’re here. I can see how your cuts are healing up if you don’t mind?”

“Not at all Dr. Williams, thank you.”

              Dr. Williams stood and came around to my side of the bed; I lifted my shirt so he could see my cuts on my back and my side.

“These are actually healing faster than I expected, I can take the sutures out now.”

              Dr. Williams grabbed a few things and then proceeded to remove the sutures from my cuts. When it came time to look at the cut on my leg, Ian let out a growl as I dropped my jeans down to reveal my cut leaving me in my underwear and t-shirt.

“You too huh?” Dr. Wiliams said glancing at Ian.

“Sorry doc.” Ian replied making me laugh a little.

“Alright, all done,” I stood up off Ian’s bed and resituated my jeans, “Ian, I’ll be back in a bit to check on you but when you feel up to it, you can go. Although I recommend going home and taking it easy for today and tomorrow until you’re fully healed.”

“Will do, thank you.” Ian replied.

              I mind-linked Aiden and Damien and let them know how Ian was doing and that we should be ready to go before too long.

              About 25 minutes later, Damien walked into the Alpha suite of the hospital

“Well you’ve certainly looked better” Damien said earning a chuckle from Ian, “How you doing?”

“Other than like I got my ass kicked twice, I’m doing fantastic!”

“Great! Ready to get home then?”

              Luckily Damien was here to help get Ian into the car, I mean, I would have tried but given our size difference I wouldn’t have been much help. 

“Where’s Aiden?” I asked once we were all settled into the car

“He’s at home, we figured we would work from home tonight since we need to leave early in the morning.” Damien said looking at me through the rear-view mirror.

“What time we heading out?” Ian asked

“Well Cam, Aiden and myself are leaving at 5, you are staying home tomorrow and resting.” Damien said matter of fact without looking at Ian

“The hell I am!”

“You have multiple broken bones and if something happened right now, fighting would make it worse and I won’t risk it. End of discussion, you’re staying home tomorrow.”

              I could see Ian was seething mad, heck I could feel it through the bond, and as much as I would like for all of us to go tomorrow, I am glad that Damien is looking out for his wellbeing. Ian knew he couldn’t defy what Damien said, he was still his Alpha after all.

              We made it home without another word; Damien helped Ian upstairs to the bedroom before excusing himself to the office. I could see the pained expression on Ian’s face now that it was just the two of us.

              “Are you hurting?” I asked carefully reaching up to cup his face

“No, . . I mean, yes it hurts, but I should be going with you guys tomorrow. I want to be going with you.”

“I know, but I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to you.”

              He wouldn’t look me in the eye, I know that Ian could have a hundred broken bones and still probably out fight an army, but I couldn’t stand to see him hurt. “Hey, I have an idea!” He gave me a questioning look as I went into the bathroom and started to fill the hot tub up. When it was ready, I took his hand and he followed me into the bathroom.

“I know the day where you beat my ass, this helped, so it will probably help you too?”

He chuckled a little, “Do you know how much I still think about that day? Part of me feels horrible for hurting you how I did and the other twisted part of me enjoyed touching you, so much that I probably pushed it farther than I should have.”

“Oh really?” I gave him a knowing smile as I started to undress, “I definitely was surprised the first time I felt your hand run up my stomach and grab my chest.” I laughed

“Yeah” he reached up and rubbed the back of his neck, “I was kinda surprised they let me get away with that.”

              I stepped into the hot water and then reached back for Ian to have him join me. He stepped in and slowly made his way down into the water, wincing slightly with the movement. He finally made himself comfortable and let out a sigh.

“This actually feels really good, Thank you.” He gave me a small smile, “Now back at the hospital you said you would make it worth my while when we got home if I listened to the good doc; well baby, we’re home.” He said with a mischievous wink

“You are insatiable!” I couldn’t help but laugh

“Plus, we never got to finish what we started earlier on my desk.”

              I was about to laugh when I looked into his eyes and saw how dark and lustful, they were, immediately shifting my mood and my mind. I hesitated, unsure what I should do, until he decided for me.

“Come here” he reached out for my hand and gently pulled me toward him. He then placed his hands on the back of my thighs and guided me on top of him so that I was straddling his hips. We hadn’t broken eye contact yet, I kept searching in his face for any signs that this was too much, but all I could find was longing.

“Are you still sore?” he asked me

“Me? I should be asking you that question!” I was about to protest more when he brought his lips up to mine, sweetly he kissed me, and my hesitation melted away. “Just go slow.”

Passionately and gently, I made love to Ian in the hot tub until the water was no longer warm before we finally got out and made our way to bed.

              It wasn’t long before Ian fell fast asleep. Once I knew he was sound asleep, I got up and headed down to the office. The door wasn’t fully closed, and the light was on, so I knocked softly before pushing the door open.

“Hey Princess, how are you feeling?”

“Good, Dr. Williams took my sutures out earlier, he said everything was healing well.”

“And Ian?”

“Not letting on to just how bad he’s hurting; he needs a few days to let his bones heal.”

“I have Julianna preparing him meals while we’re gone and Keegan stopping by tomorrow evening to check up on him as well.”

“Thank you. Are you guys coming to bed soon? It’s getting late.”

“We probably should, I don’t know what else I’m going to find out about these packs that I don’t already know.”

              Damien turned off his light and came around his desk to grab my hand.

“You coming?” He asked Aiden

“I’ll guess we’re as ready as we’ll ever be. Let’s go.”

              Taking my other hand, Aiden led us back upstairs. They let me snuggle back up next to Ian, and Aiden then wrapped himself around my back, leaving Damien to huff to himself on the other side of Aiden making me chuckle.
