The last thing I knew without realizing I slipped into a deep sleep beside Lilly while we were watching our movie.
I only woke up from a loud thud that startled me out of my sleep. As my eyes shot wide open, quickly throwing the blanket off of me. Sitting up in a fright thinking to myself "What the f**k". I looked around for a little bit but it was completely dark. The TV wasn't even on anymore.
I started to move my hands around feeling objects around me. Slowly rising my hand up towards the lightswitch. Right before I could even turn the light on I heard another loud ass bang that sound like it was coming from the other side of the house. I jumped and let out a slightly loud 'ouu'.
Quickly turning the light on I whispered slightly under my breath 'what the f**k was that'. I was shook at this point.
"Hey Lilly, get up I think someone is in the house" I said in a whisper but panic. Realizing when I looked over to wake Lilly up she was gone. Part of me was relieved. "Okay that has to be Lilly then, but what the hell is she doing?" I said to myself. I got up putting my slippers on and grabbing my phone. walking to the bottom of the stairs to see if I can see Lilly. "Hey Lilly is that you? what are you doing?" I yelled. I waited for a couple of seconds but heard no response. Thinking maybe she didn't hear me, I repeated myself. "Lilly? is that you? what are you doing up there?" I yelled slightly louder, hoping she would come in the view and I could see her, and she could explain what that loud banging noise was. Still, I waited there for a few seconds with no reply and no sight of Lilly. "What the f**k man" I said under my breath. "This b***h better not be going through my s**t or trying to steal s**t" I thought to myself. Hoping maybe she just decided to take a shower as we only have one full bathroom with a shower in the house and that is upstairs. But then again why the hell wouldn't she ask me and what the f**k was the banging all about?
.
I ended up turning the flashlight on my phone to light up the staircase and hallway as I walked upstairs. Still yelling out Lillys name, I'm confused as too why she is acting like she can't hear me. It was starting to annoy me the minuet I raise my left leg to walk up the stairs.
Reaching the top of my second story house, I look left, flashing my phone light down the hallway. I'm still calling Lilly's name. I turn my head in the opposite direction, turning my flashlight in the same direction to see.
I hadn't heard any other loud banging sense. I started calling for Lilly. It was weird but also starting to make me worry a bit. I hope she was ok and something bad didn't happen. I didn't really know where to start looking, so I go too the bathroom first, of course. That's the only other place up here she should be in my house.
As I'm walking up with a firm tone, I knock on the door. "Hey Lilly, are you okay? are you in there?". Not three seconds later, I give it another knock. Still hearing nothing, I turn the door knob to open the door. It was dark, and nobody was inside the bathroom. 'The hell,' I thought to myself as I backed out quickly.
Searching for Lilly in my house. I make sure to pick up my pace. Moving quickly , I knew I had six other doors to open, and I needed to move fast. Being in the dark about what's going on means you need to move as fast as possible to see the light and take control of the situation. You don't know how much damage is already done.
Walking to my parents' bedroom door first. I open the door slowly. Then I realized to myself it was dark, so obviously, be smart and use my brain. I turned the light on in the hallway to see better. Poking my head in my parents' room, I quickly turned on their bedroom light, scanning the entire room. "Not here clearly," I said to myself as I turned the light back off and closed the door. Walking just a few steps to my uncle bedroom as his was beside my parents. Opening my uncles door, I didn't see anyone in their either. I closed the door back, not finding Lilly and the fact that this is incredibly creepy. I stand their thinking to myself for what seemed like forever but was only 30 seconds. I was wondering what the hell this woman could be doing in my house. I was irritated, mad, and worried. All these emotions started to make my Anixety attack start to come on. I start breathing heavily, but I'm used to this by now, so I already know what to do. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Holding my breath for seven seconds, then slowly releasing. I started to calm down and was able to think clearly. "Let me call her duh!" I pushed my finger against my phone screen to display the code I put it in and immediately go to my call log and find Lillys name. Calling her, it just rang, and rang. Finally, the funny voicemail she had made started playing through the phone speaker. "Of course she didn't answer.. psh." I said outloud to myself. I yelled, her name again getting frustrated. "I shouldn't have to check all these damn rooms! where the f**k are you?" I was yelling loudly. I decided to send her a text as well. It delivered so her phone was on and she was receiving my messages. "I heard two loud thuds. It was so loud it woke me up scared out of my sleep. Then you weren't on the couch. where are you Lilly? I thought maybe it was you upstairs taking a shower. I'm getting worried." the text read.
I stood upstairs still outside of my uncles bedroom door. Staring at mine and Lillys messages hoping this would all be explained soon. I tried calling her once again, but on the third ring I heard the thud again. This time it was more intense, more loud and it came out of nowhere scaring the heck out of me. "Geeez oh my god!" I screamed.
At this point my heart was starting to race and I was shaking up. I didn't want to call the police and it be nothing. But then I thought, that can't be nothing. Going to call 911 now my phones screen goes completely dark. "WHAT THE f**k? SERIOUSLY NOW YOU DECIDE TO ACT DUMB?" I yelled outloud frustrated at my phone. "Maybe it died" I thought to myself. I walk quickly to my bedroom door. Before opening it I had to close my eyes and take a deep breath again, I was honestly scared if something or someone was inside of my room maybe waiting on me.
I opened the door and I left my lamp on so luckily I could see. Scanning and peaking my head to make sure nobody was inside my room, I walked in and looked out the door behind me into the hallway, making sure I didn't get snuck up on. I took every precaution. I didn't know what was going on, and at this point, it could be anything.
I close my bedroom door, making sure I lock it. I rushed to the corner of my bed near the window where I kept my charger. I plugged my phone in and sat there impatiently. Begging and praying to God it turns on quickly. At this point, I felt my life may be in danger. Maybe someone is trying to rob us.
