chapter 19- training

            Carinas pov

I woke up the next morning snuggled up in Dravens arms, he seemed to still be knocked out. Although, I had told him I'm ready to move forward there still seems to be a part of me that just has a black hole in it. I mean I never really bonded with my child never even felt a kick but I wasn't pregnant for long either. But just thinking that that child could have been something not only mine but Dravens legacy. We will have more kids though I'm sure of that especially the way we be f*****g. I pushed my thoughts into the back of my mind because I want to move on from this. We can always have another child, plus I already promised him or her revenge and I will get it.

I snuggled further into my mate, he was nice and warm and he smells lovely, and I love the way he looks in the mornings messy hair and rugged. He had his mouth open and was drooling a little, I had giggled a little causing him to stir. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. But that was short lived, I felt Draven tighten his grip on my waist But I still kept my eyes closed thinking I could win this. But he growled lowly in my ear. "I know your up." he whispered in my ear. And his voice was really raspy which was making me really horny. But I was persistent on keeping my eyes closed. "So that's how you want to play kitten." he whispered again. His face came up to my neck. And he growled again. "You smell so good, mate." he said into my neck. And then I felt him go down and he went further down until he reached my v****a. And all I felt was his breath on me. And it made me shiver a little bit and I was holding in a moan for dear life. And I know he felt me shiver. s**t. Now he definitely knows I'm awake. His hands traveled up to my boobs and he massaged them for a moment before moving to my waist. And then he started tickling me. And that was it I couldn't hold in my laughter. "I knew you were up you little vixen." he said laughing. He stopped his attacks and came down to give me a kiss. And I melted into his kiss. "Good morning beautiful. I missed waking up with you." He said. "Good morning to you too handsome. And I missed waking up to you too." I said. And I kissed him some more. "As much as I want to stay in bed we gave training. Now let's get up so we can eat and then train." He said.

"Ugh, your no fun." I said and he laughed.

But I got up and we brushed our teeth and got changed. We were both in loose clothes. "I know I'm a wolf know but me and my team should still train with our weapons, if anything we should teach the whole pack how to use weapons. I mean what happens if they can't shift for some reason or are in front of too many humans they should learn self defense and how to use certain weapons." I said. "Well babe they all know self defense, we teach all members self defense, but yea weapons training would be good. Because, your right enemies could use wolfsbane or silver against our wolves to weaken them so weapons training might be good." he said "Good so since we will have a long day today I'll have some of my lower members drive down here with crates plus since I'm staying here it would be better to keep my shipment here I don't want to leave all of my things out in the open. I'll call them now and they should be here in a few hours so we can start on sparring, more self defense, then train our powers, and then weapons training." I said. "Good idea babe. Let's get started." he said back.

I called Thomas. He is one of the lower members and I told him to have preston and jason help load the weapons into crates and all three of them drive here in the trucks I have for picking up shipment but to keep weapons theyd need in case the hotel gets breached when I'm not there. After I hung up the phone me and Draven went down for breakfast hand in hand. We saw everyone here. We all ate really quickly and headed for the fields. Draven mindlinked everyone to join except children and pregnant woman or ones with young kids. So Owen's mate and James mate couldn't come.

We paired everyone up. It was me and Draven, Raf and Ayla, Owen and James, Craig and Jasmine, Santi and Nicole, and the lower members Jaxon and Amora, Madd and Theo, Rob and Lina. And some others. The people paired with my team members were going last we needed to watch them and tell them what they are doing wrong before we all demonstrate what needs to be fixed. it was Madd and Theo first. They started sparring. But their standing position was wrong. "Fix your stances you guys are fighting not leaning over an apple barrel." Said Santi. And everyone laughed. "Shut it don't laugh unless you want to do 200 push ups." I said to them and they cowered down.

"Draven how do you teach self defense if they can't stand right." i crossed my arms staring Draven down. "The lower members sometimes don't pay attention and that's on them." he said I couldn't believe my ears. "No it's not on them you are their alpha, their leader, even I teach my lower members to fight like me heck my whole team and me teach them so they are untouchable, you can't blame them that is on you, you need to be harder on them and let them know what can come in and take their lives." I said I was really upset with him. "Well not that untouchable if you got kidnapped and beaten." Rob said. "Excuse me." Draven growled at him. "How dare you disrespect your luna." He said to Rob. "Well she was disrespecting you and plus all of our problems started when she came in." he said. "Dude what's wrong with you." Jaxon and Theo and Madd Said back to him. "First off, not that I need to explain anything to you but those problems were because of my father, not Carina. And even then she is still your luna. Disrespect her again and you'll be a rogue." Draven said. "No need, baby." I said to Draven. I looked at Rob who was glaring at me. "Step in the middle." I said. "What?" he said.

"I said step in the middle and we will see who is untouchable and who is not." I said to him. And he looked eager as hell to step in the middle after what I said.

I stepper into the middle. Owen put his hands in the middle. "Remember, this is only sparring so don't intentionally break anything or try to kill each other." He called and lifted his hand. We were circling each other. While he was staring at my face I was studying his movements, but I had to wait till he threw a punch or a kick to find his tell. That's the first thing I've learned in fighting was that everyone had a tell. He went to throw a punch and I dodged. He threw another and I blocked. And I found it he scrunches his face before throwing a punch. so I threw a punch at him and then I swept my leg under his feet and he fell. I winked at him and he growled and got back up getting more aggressive. This time when he scrunched his face and threw a punch i grabbed his hand and flipped him over my back making him fall to the floor on his back. But before he could move I put my foot on his chest. "Draven may be your alpha, and is nice at that. But I'm your luna and more ruthless next time you disrespect me it won't be sparring I'll cut your tongue out from your head. Got it." I said to him.

"Yes Luna. I'm sorry." I moved to Draven. "That's my girl." he said kissing me. And we moved on everyone sparred and then it was time for self defense teachings which me and my team would be teaching. Even to Draven himself cause he needed help too.

"Everyone, in position. Today's lesson for self defense is looking for a person's tell. Or studying your opponent for weaknesses in the way they move. That is how I beat our little friend Rob." I said. Everyone laughed.

"I wouldn't be laughing if I were you, you guys are terrible." I said. "Santi come." I said and he came over to me. He knew what I wanted because we have done this plenty of times. He took position in front of me and stood in his fighting stance. And we fought he got some hits and I got some hits but we were just demonstrating. "So when fighting you want to look at their face and the way they move to find weaknesses or tells. Sadly we have been trained by professionals so we know how to hide it but Santi your tell is you move forward before throwing a punch. And you can use that as an advantage because while he moves forward I can sweep his legs or duck down and jab him in the ribs." I said. "Dam how'd you figure it out. I've been trying forever." said Nicole. "it was hard but you have to really focus." I said back. And we continued our lessons and the pack had made some progress.

Next was our powers. Me and Draven both have fire in our veins but his is only brought out when getting injured. But we didn't want to injure him so the only thing he could work on was trying to bring out his wings and fly. But my I had to focus on my anger. Which I had a lot of due to the past events. Draven looked like he was trying to take a s**t the way he was concentrated. "Dude you look like your trying to shit." Santi said to him. And I laughed. "I'm sorry babe, but you do. You look constipated as hell." I told him and he made a face. "Alpha, why don't you try relaxing into it." Ayla said. And he did he let his whole body relax. And then white wings spread out from his back they were so Beautiful. He started flying. When he came back down he looked happy. "Carina I'll be back I'm taking the team with the guys are here to drop off the weapons." He said. "Alright tell them they can come join if they want." I said and he nodded off with the rest of everyone. Talon and Jayden came out. "Oh how nice of you guys to join training." I said to them. "We were watching and we learned some things next time we will come we kind of slept in a little." Talon said. "Well I'm glad you guys are here cause this is the best part." i said and they looked confused. So I took my stance and I focused on my anger on all of the things that had happened. Christopher's betrayal, Dravens father, My baby dying and I kept repeating it all in my head until I felt myself heat up and then I was on fire I was literally on fire. I shot my hand out and I blasted a little bit out of my hand and on a tree and the tree caught on fire and came down. "That was awesome." I said. "Hell yea it was. Do it again." Talon and Jayden said at the same time. And I did. "Dam babe remind me not to piss you off." Draven said. "Yea she'll set your little Wolfie ass on fire." Jayden said and we all laughed. And then I focused on calming down and it worked. But the grass around me was scorched and my clothes came off. Draven cleared his throat noticing the unmated wolves looking at me. They looked away luckily I brought extra clothes and quickly put them on. I saw Raf, Jasmine, Nicole, and santi along with Thomas, Jason and Preston come they are three of the lower members but they are exceptional and I was thinking about adding them to the team. And bumping up their ranks. "Hey boss" they said. "Hey guys, welcome to the pack, oh and you'll be helping with demonstrations today and then I want to talk to you three after and plan to stay the night we can get you clothes from any of the pack members. okay?" I said to them and they looked nervous as s**t.

"Yes boss" they said. "Perfect let's get started." I said and we opened the crates. God I missed my weapons. "God I missed our weapons" Raf said. "Me too bro, like no disrespect to you guys being supernatural but nothing beats weapons." Santi said. And we started. We taught them how to use knives and how to throw knives, then it was guns. We taught them how to aim, fire and how to disarm someone and how to take apart and reassemble a gun. They learned a lot. We all headed inside and ate dinner and showered. I headed back down to talk to Preston, Thomas, and Jason.

"Hey guys, are you guys comfortable." I asked them.

"Yes boss." They said.

"Okay good. Now I wanted to talk to you guys. I've had my eye on you guys for a while. You guys are fast learners and exceptional and are good at working in a team. So what I'm saying is that I want you to be apart of the team and I am promoting you guys. Which also means you guys will move here with us the only time we go back is for shipment or other business relations in New York. Is that okay with you guys?" I asked them.

"Yes it is. Neither of us are married or in relationships and we would love to be apart of the team and get good missions and plus we have no family you helped get us off the streets. So we would love to."Preston said.

"I agree" Thomas said. "So do I" Jason said.

"Then it's settled. Welcome to the black phantom team and first thing tomorrow is to go back home pack your things and come here and take any car you want. But f**k it up and its coming out of your paycheck Got it?" I said to them I don't want none of my babies ruined but perks of being with my team is using my cars. "Yes boss." They said. And I headed up to bed to join my mate. When I got up there Draven was knocked out. I was exhausted too we did a lot today. As soon as I got in bed and cuddled with Draven darkness took over me.
