I noticed Sienna growing increasingly quiet and withdrawn as the day progressed. Understandably, the others weren’t thrilled about her presence in the office, and I couldn’t blame them. It was a lot to accept, but I felt it was necessary to give Sienna a chance, to see if we could make it work again.
However, I became concerned when I observed her working slower and appearing less focused. I decided to wait until we all took a break before addressing the issue.
Once the others had left, I approached Sienna and sat down beside her. To my surprise, she didn’t react immediately. When she finally turned to me, her smile seemed to be tinged with sadness.
“What’s going on?” I asked, cutting straight to the point.
