Mister Hevisen, principal of the school named Prince High School, was known as the gentleman of the whole building with the pure heart of kindness and well-mannered.
Every student and staff in this school admired him for his great techniques of controlling the school. He had good control of the economic system regarding the school education, staffs income, facility for learning and raising forth the studies to the peak of level. Every student stepped out as a successor from his school which they felt as the prince of the school just like the name it carried and it was the best symbol.
Controlling the education system, advising the teachers, checking out the student’s level in studies, all were firmly under his custody.
No one felt a burden in their works.
No one minded his entries and no one took the opposite to what he was doing.
They knew it was all for their betterment.
Every morning, no matter the weather condition, no matter how busy his duty timing would be, Mister Hevisen, the Principal would always be present by the gate of the school, greeting all his students till the very last students entering the gate, he would see everyone and welcome them in. Such kind this person was. By his this attendance every student used to his attendences at the gate and at the moment even the parents wouldn’t mind greeting by.
On the other, when the entire school of the city, rejected the student Joe from admitting into their school just because of the statement he was known for ‘Child left in mysteries’ only this man agreed for keeping him by saying:
“My school will recover the mysteries for him. We will return him into a normal student.”
He welcomed him with open arms, adding a gentle smile, encouraging him to be the best student of his school so that it would cover away from the title he was known for. Certainly, this student did his best and recovered the statement by performing hard in his studies.
By then, every morning the principal would wait for him in great patience, by the gate, as he would be greeting all the arrival with a fresh new smile on his face and when Joe would appear, even from the end of the street, he would send his glaze up to him and call out loud in the uppermost volume of his voice,
“JOE! MY BOY!”
This would pause all the people around. The arrival students, teachers, staff members, pass Byers, shopkeepers, gatekeeper all stare at the direction of his call, wondering who exactly is at the top of his list. It would appear as though the time has stopped at that every second.
It was embarrassing at the first call, making Joe drown into his shoulders by the stares of hawks from around him but then sooner or later, it became a pride for him.
When he would hear the call he would increase his pace, speeding up to the man in case not to keep him waiting. He would greet him at the gate and enter in the same way, by the end of school hours he would make his farewell to him goodbye and leave the school at the sunset.
These times are really beautiful when you come to think about it when someone who would always appear for greeting you by the start of the day till the sunset hours. You would get used to them and always be waiting for them and you won’t feel your days complete without their greetings and farewells. These times are impressive.
Although you may think those people who always be nice to you as the best people you have ever met, and then draining away the ones who are close to you, what some people make mistake is that they only vision the upper cover and accepts them, they view their kind greetings and loving words from the first seen, Aye, that is the rule of every first appearance to meet each other happily.
They really think they are the best people they have met in this way, rather than to seek the below dark mysteries part of the fellow mate. The attracted people get caught inside their very own foolish emotion and then later reject all about what had happened.
No one’s to be blamed about your regard cause when the quote was already said by those wise men:
It was you who wasn’t ready to believe instead you fell into your own desires.
The same played for Joe with the principal. He trusted him in blindness, seeking him as a supporter of his education. He never thought a man like him, gentle and trustworthy would be ordered on top of the list to be haunted down by something mysterious as the sign of danger for others if left alone. He got blinded by his own illusion of trust.
In the darkroom, both Joe and Mister Hevisen stood facing at each other with wild gaze in silence as though two beasts would pounce on one another and tear each other to pieces. They are just waiting for the wrong move.
It was midnight, the office room was lighted two by four of the room square by the moon’s fair light, viewing for the visitor the furniture and the long desk behind the orange suit youth.
As they both were solid ice on their stage, Joe broke the ice queuing, “Tell me, sir, why did you do this? What made you go against your own school property with its students? So much so that you, with your very own hands, summoned a dangerous beast into the school building giving it permission to roam around freely and it would slew your very own pupil? Answer me this”.
Hevinsen leered replying “it’s not necessary for me to speak out all the details to a newbie of the company. You have got a lot to learn Joe, my boy.” He opened wide his arms adding that since this is required in accomplishing HIS mission, he won’t hesitate in pulling the trigger.
This surprised Joe and he asked, “Do you mean even though if it orders to slay your own student?” his tone sounded hopeless which gave a pleasant feeling to Hevinsen to view such frustration from a young boy in front of him.
He replied nodding “yes, even if it comes to finishing a staff, student or a poor new student, whatever the order is assigned nothing matter to me, whoever is asked to kill, kidnap, or sold away as long as it fulfills my desires……..it shall be done”.
“I see” nodded Joe sadly. He stamped his umbrella tip by tip on the ground staring at the wooden floor and asked “so, even if you are asked to kill me, as you know………. I was admired by you very much till today?” he recalled this day as it was the last day of the school and the farewell greetings of the school life. He questioned if it was required on doing this means killing his own close student, will he choose to do it?
“OF COURSE JOE! OF COURSE MY BOY!” exclaimed the man in excitement revealing his true self “hurting someone, a person who has trusted you his entire life, who had set faith in you during his tough time then, when it’s time to break him down into pieces, we are showering on his path of hopelessness, despair, hatred. How wonderful that IS! HOW TASTY THAT IS!” he leered adding more “it’s the most fascinating moment of our life when you throw someone under your feet and trash at them saying you were useless and trash to me. The same goes for you Joe” he pointed out ay the boy whose eyes were hidden under his hair. He began to insult him, blame him saying “you ARE and WERE always useless to me. I didn’t really admire you among us. All your greetings and farewells you did for me, I always was sick of it and waited…Yes! I waited for you to go absent someday, get out of my school due to frustration and pinpointing of the students around you. I was sick of you and regarded that as why I brought you into my school. Hence, you didn’t do that! You passed through all levels of class.
Believe me! I even tried to suspend you from this school so you could turn into an uneducated kid roaming around our city, but that didn’t happen! It didn’t work! It never went accomplished.
You never gave up! you were great, you went successfully through all the tests! You passed all the tasks! You never failed! It was exhausting hahahahha.” He began to laugh in horror “you won from every problem I created. You won from all the tasks I deliberately made for you to get suspended, in the end, you still won. But….but” he stood straight and reversed his step into the darkness saying, “But in the end, I gave you a chance. I was hoping for you that an invitation would admit this annoying boy into the company that most of us work in.
The WIC Company.
Perhaps, something could occur to you to stop proceeding. Something that could least kill this boy, avoiding you to step out of this building, avoiding my Joe to step into the future and see! You see the result! How wonderful! You got trapped! You can’t go on! You will die here in my hands. Finally! Something will make you vanish from this world!” he opened his hands wide as the palm began to glow up in white power “feel my wrath and guts for you to meet up your dome!”
Upon hearing this, a single voice spoke out “Thank you…” replied the boy instead of getting fear or surprise.
“What?!” surprised the man by this sudden thanking?
Why was he thanking him?
What made him thank the double-faced man?
“Such fool you are, Joe’ smiled Mister Hevinsen by looking at his state. He thought that Joe had fallen in despair. Maybe by listening to the truth behind the toughness, he faced during his academic days, he had lost his hope and will to carry out his life, admitting the dark failure of life.
Before the very end, he could only speak out thank you.
But for what?
Thank you for letting him stay in the building and fill up his body with the knowledge.
“You are a weakling boy! better die than suffer the end of the path you have taken tonight.” He stretched his palm at his own student creating a powering ball when the student spoke up.
“It’s not what you are thinking, sir?” replied Joe with a gentle smile “I am not frustrated by what all you said. Least use your head. I am thanking you for this” he lifted up his gun that was straight at Hevinsen’s palm both meeting one on one in a straight line. Within the next second, Joe thanked “for opening yourself in an open target…… JACKPOT!”
BANG!
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” cried the man reversing back by holding his arms pipe were from the end of the arm pressure of blood was pouring out splashing on the floor in heavy drop and creating a pool of red thick liquid. There was no hand left for him.
By the gunshot that was fired at close range at his hand by the orange suit boy without any distance between them as a result, the right palm was burst off from the arm. The man was suffering from the sudden pain Joe gave him as his legs couldn’t even gain the strength to withdraw back from the attacker.
As he was trying to fight it in a swift Joe stepped one foot forth and he gave a straight kick on the man’s stomach that threw him back to the wall stamping him into it.
With his footing stretched straight, Joe stood with the half-bent body as he gave him the blow “I don’t care about what you did or what you have done. That was all doing and it became from the past, all the tolerating and hidden plot you were up to it doesn’t matter to me anymore.” He lifted his gun and aimed straight at the darkness, at the man who was been stamped on the wall.
At his very own principle, he aimed at him without using the tragic aimer and said “All I want is to get out of here and see the result. Since I will be done with you, all will be over.”
BLAST!
He fired in a swift bullet when suddenly, a green large hexagon opened up around the principal named Hevinsen, the hexagon blocked the bullet and it dropped on the floor without even scratching the figure.
This hexagon was glowing in a light green color transparent which was smoothly spinning in its position.
“What?!” shocked Joe by viewing this large shield bright in its light that had suddenly illuminated the room from the darkness “another special power carrier, how come? How many of us are there in total with us?”
“You will never know how many are there…..” answered the young female voice “unless you get admitted in the company’s gameplay and seek the one who poses the ability to live under such company.”
“Huh?” stunned Joe as he heard footsteps approaching the room from the doorway.
With her long dress spreading into the ground and her heels tip-top on every step, a young lady walked by the hexagon and stood at the left side of the shield facing straight at Joe.
She said “you are still a beginner just like the three fools I fought earlier. You all are way too weaker than them.”
“The three kids?” shocked Joe by hearing this as he stood on his guide.
At first, he thought about the three students he left behind a few minutes ago. The three middle-aged school students Lila, Vonika, and Gorgon, the moment he wondered whether they must have awakened when suddenly his head got interrupted in his thoughts by the real people she was addressing about him.
“Wait!” shocked Joe “you mean the three young boys!”
“Commonly called as ‘The Hats’” named the lady all three at once “as… I am known as the protector in the game of this company and according to my name, my title I have come to protect my master. Heal him and stay along his side in his every fight.”
“A protector?” puzzled the boy asking himself. This means whatever he did she will be appearing on his way. He will be blocking him from attacking the principal. This doesn’t sound good. It going to be complete, out of his hand.
What can he do?
He is outnumbered and will soon be killed by them. His grip on his weapon grew tighter as his head got soaked in sweats by thinking hard about what to do.
Just as he was paused in his place, drowning in puzzlement, the protector glowed her right hand, he gazed up and saw her placing it on the hexagon’s wall and said,
“With my palm, I will help my master’s bleeding to stop, and then we shall take care of you.”
Her palm touched the barrier and it glowed in white color. She smiled when a voice interrupted,
“Not when I am still here!!”
KOT!
Suddenly, a gun fired at her. She looked at her side without even moving from the bullet. She stood in full confidence when Joe fired another shot and it was blocked again by her own barrier dome that she created intensively without any effort.
“Darn it!” cursed the boy lowering his gun “she has the full control on the field.”
This made her smile and she continued her healing. She didn’t need to give any attention or caution to him as she was fully confident that he would die right in the hand of her own master. All she need to do was focus on curing her master and work would be done. She knew very well he was a nud, newbie, and useless worthless creature who had not many rates of killing rage from him.
In a single sentence, this boy just joined the company WIC and will soon fall within the first mission. It was of no use to him, he was a dead bird for good. No hope of moving out for a living. His times were dark from the start.
Unfortunately, not all scene plays the same role for the viewers and not all mirrors tell the same reflection.
How come?
It may appear from one side to the other that he is dumb who won’t understand the other thoughts for him. He won’t know the effects for himself and he won’t know the leer plots created for one party to the other.
On the bright side, one thing was for certain that Joe knew all. He knew what these two were going to plan against him, he knew what moves they will use on him and he estimated where or when they shall very start!
As a clear fact, to read others’ thoughts was what was racing in his head. Thanks to the ability that he was given from nowhere he had confidence in himself.
While the two stayed in their poses healing up, he too chose not to move but, instead stayed on his ground with his gun lowered. He stared in a frown as though he had lost hope over his face but, in his eyes, he was glaring at them in great focus
“I know these two will attack me at full force once they start moving after finishing their healing process.” said Joe inwards while staying focused on them, “these two are strong, they will kill me within their second move. Whereas, for me,” clenched his teeth thinking hard “I don’t have many chances of escaping their killing intent. It’s not like I am giving up but, I should make the chance for my living to the next stage. I don’t want to be a dead man here who would be chained to darkness without any chance of getting out and knowing the light of truth. I must find a way for myself to win.” He swiftly began to scan around himself looking up and down.
All he found were plain walls with cracks all over especially the one at his left that had a breach on it due to that giant werewolf as it was laying in the wall with its legs raised high.
“There are all empty” tensed the boy as he shifted his sight from left to right and right to up from up to down.
He unexpectedly turned to his back and saw that big office desk behind. Suddenly, an idea hit his head and he smiled saying “YES! This should do it!”
