“Who will you be bringing to my wedding?”
Ifeanyi was browsing through the pictures on Amina’s profile and smiling at the funny looking ones when his brother spoke up.
“What?” He heard him right but just decided to play dumb.
“Who will you bring to my wedding as your plus one, you do realise it’s in a month right?”
He knew that but he wasn’t really interested in going with anyone. He wasn’t interested in meeting any woman, period. Taking a date to a wedding sends the wrong kind of message, she’ll only read meaning to something that doesn’t exist.
“Nobody.”
Nnamdi took his eyes off the road to glance at him before turning. “What do you mean nobody?”
“Like I said, nobody.” He continued scrolling through the pictures and clicked the ‘like’ button on a particularly pretty one.
