The pilot loud announcement woke Stella up, she looked around they were still on air, the white clouds looked beautiful as ever, indicating to many that they were not on earth but on air. she removed her headphones to hear what the pilot was announcing, but he was done talking by then. Stella sat up and tapped a lady sitting next and her what the pilot had said.. "Aren't we on the same plane" The lady snapped. "Ladies and gentlemen, we're beginning our descent into Seoul Incheon International airport please put on your seatbelts" The pilot repeated. "Now you hear it" The lady said obviously looking for Stella's attention. "yeah" Stella said and covered her ears with the head phones. After all she was always a calm type. ****** ******* Stella's feet touched Korean soil, and the rush of familiar sounds hit her like a wave. She breezed through immigration, collected her luggage, and exchanged some cash at the airport bureau – the crisp won notes feeling alien in her hand, even though it was just three months after so long. Her stomach growled, and she followed the signs to a food court, the smell of kimchi stew and fried goodness transporting her back years. She devoured a steaming bowl of bibimbap, feeling a tiny spark of comfort in the familiar flavors. After lunch, she hailed a taxi and told the driver Austin's mansion address. Stella took her luggage from the taxi, and walked into the mansion. It was still the same, she walked into her room and slammed the door, She took her phone and texted Ethan. "Already in Seoul" She tucked in her phone and walked to her wardrobe to pack her stuffs, she remembered when she moved to Austin Mansion again, it felt like her dream came true but it wasn't. she smiled to herself and said "I was just kidding myself". She finished packing and picked up her phone to check for her new house address, she saw Ethan's text immediately she double tapped and read it :: "Cul we'll see on Friday something came up, I'm leaving town" Stella replied with a thumbs up emojis and checked the address. She laid on the bed and called a taxi, deciding to tour the house one more time before she leaves. She awkwardly walked into Austin's room and saw the scarf she had knitted for him as a birthday gift in the trash can, she guessed he probably kept it there the moment she gave him. It was last winter, she Went to the cotton shop with Aurora and saw a nice sky blue yarn, a scarf idea came to her mind so she decided to gift it to Austin since it was winter and his birthday she would have used it if she knew Austin would just trash it. She picked it up and decided to take it with her, it was her's after all. Her phone buzzed snapping her back to reality, it was the Taxi, she picked the call and placed it on her ears, walking to her room to get the luggage "Hello I'll be there in two minutes" She said and hanged up the call, she wasn't ready for any nagging, it was the habit of taxi drivers in Seoul when they don't meet their passengers immediately they arrived, they nag the whole world. She ran outside, locked the door, headed to the taxi, she was glad it was a password door which had no key, she wouldn't owe Austin anything. She arrived her house at exactly 6:50 pm, there wasn't much to do because the house had every thing. Since the first day Stella became Austin's wife, he sends her money every week, when she gave birth to Aurora, he didn't make them share he opened an account and showered money into it for Aurora. Stella wasn't too rich nor poor, the total amount of money left with her was thirty thousand dollars, which was enough to buy a house and supplies, plus she gets paid at work massively based on her position. She dropped from her work and started working at Austin's company with the verge of getting closer to him, she became his assistant but never shows up in front of him, she often work alone without him seeing her for a month, until he traveled to New York Two years ago because of Jasmine. ****** ******* Aurora birthday party was on Thursday, she was happy because she would be spending the day with Jasmine. She had totally forgotten about Stella, instead she was concerned about Jasmine who she assumes is her mom Austin on the other hand didn't text or call Stella, there wasn't a clear reason maybe because he hates or because he thought she was at work or maybe because he didn't care if she was okay or not. He had already booked a flight to Seoul, two days ago and would be travelling in two days, he knew Aurora's birthday was on Thursday so he booked the flight a bit earlier, so she could celebrate with Jasmine as she wanted, not really because he missed her. Stella was already getting used to her new life, living alone was like freedom to her, though deep down she missed Aurora and all the moments they spent together. She didn't give a f**k about Austin, but she was expecting his call because of the divorce papers, which she thought he might have gotten. She gave Mr Albert her resignation letter, she knew she had to start new and start well, she wasn't ready to stand Austin even a minute more not to talk of seeing him everyday day as her boss. "Are you sure about this" Mr Albert asked disappointed, Stella has been a very reliable and trustworthy employee, she worked effortlessly for the benefits of the company this made a lot of workers look up to her and made her presence visible in the company. "Yes, I've decided to pursue my dream" Stella said. "Okay..., but if you ever change your mind, we'll receive you with open hands" Mr Albert said and Stella turned to leave. "But you would have to work till we find a replacement" Mr Albert said. "I know but am sorry I really can't resume any more, I have more important things to do, I hope you'll understand" Stella said. "Is there something your not telling me" Mr Albert said. "No am good" Stella said and walked out of the office.
