There were a few slits between the thick brush letting in sunlight through the makeshift roof. In front of a cave stood a simple structure made out of branches and smaller logs. It served as an entrance to the cave where the rogues slept. It had two walls and a roof to protect them better from the weather, but other than that it had no real purpose. Inside the structure were a couple of flat rocks that served as chairs, and in the middle was a circle of round stones. They protected the fire they would light now and then to cook some meat if they caught bigger prey. On one of the rocks sat Pearl shaking, not from the cold but out of fear. The leader of the rogues sat on another rock looking her up and down with hooded eyes, now and then he would lick his lips like he had a wonderful meal to
