Kelsey's POV After Marcus left, I took another nap. Lately, I'd been feeling sleepy a lot. My wolf curled up inside, contentedly purring. The cedar scent of Marcus still lingered, like a warm blanket around me. When I woke up, I yawned and went downstairs. "Suzie, what's for lunch?" I asked, feeling my stomach growl. Suzie had prepared a feast. I felt a bit guilty for getting used to this life of ease. I rubbed my belly and spent the day learning all about pregnancy from Suzie. I studied hard because this knowledge would be truly useful for me. In the evening, Marcus came back and found me on a yoga mat, watching some educational videos on TV. His cedar aura was tinged with exhaustion, but seeing me seemed to calm him a little. His wolf seemed to recognize the scent of my wolf.
