Auction: Part Two

(Augusta Pov)
I don't know how long I was waiting downstairs in the dungeon of the auction house but it felt like hours. Suddenly I heard foot steps coming down the stairs before stopping at my cell, the door opened and I was put in chains and led up stairs. I was dragged onto the stage and looked out into the audience, my eyes landed on James in the front row and my breath caught in my throat my eyes locked with his and it was like I was in a trance and couldn't look away. I knew he was good looking from when I met him in my astral form, but in person he was sexy as hell with his shoulder length dirty blond hair and icy blue eyes. He had a strong jaw covered in a thin layer of facial hair, a felt a pull to him and I had no idea why but it felt right. The demon at the podium announced me as the item up for auction and anger shot through me, I really wanted to bust out of my chains and rip his throat out.
The demon cleared his throat and said, "Shall we start the bidding at $20,000?" A hideous demon who was missing one eye and had yellow teeth shouted out, "$20,000." There was another shout from a female vampire, "$25,000." The whole time shouts were going off I couldn't take my eyes off of James, I could tell he was angry but at the same time there was a determination to him and for some odd reason I wasn't worried. The bid got up to $100,000 and the room quieted down, the announcer said, "Okay $100,000 going once, twice," before he could finish James stood up and said, "$200,000." The demon who's bid was $100,000 sat down with a grunt, the announcer called out, "Okay, $200,000 going once, twice and sold to king James Price." Two guards came up on stage to take me to a waiting room to await my new "Owner" the room was small with bare walls and only a worn out couch in the center of the room.
(James Pov)
They took Augusta to a waiting room while I settled the payment, it didn't take long to settle the payment and then I was led back to the room Augusta was in. She was standing in the middle of the room avoiding the worn out couch like it was possessed, just looking at her makes my heart start beating faster and it took everything in me not to grab her and kiss her right then and there. The guard went over and removed her chains, before leaving us alone in the room. I walked over to her and cleared my throat before asking, "Are you okay?" She lifted her head and her eyes met mine before she responded, "I'm fine, thank you for everything and once I get out of here I'll find a way to pay you back." I shook my head and said, "Don't worry about that, its not necessary, listen there is something I need to talk to you about but we can do that in the car lets get out of here." She nodded her head and I put my arm around her and led her out of the auction house and to my car, I opened the door for her and closed it behind her before going around to the drivers side and getting in.
I started the car and pulled out of the parking lot and started heading to the castle, I glanced over at her and asked, "How much do you know about vampires?" She looked back at me and said, "The basics I guess, you drink blood and are sensitive to the sun, you're immortal and mate for life kinda like werewolves." I laughed and said, "Don't let any other vampire hear you compare them to a werewolf, but yes I guess we are similar in that way a vampire's mate is referred as our beloved and this might be hard to believe but you are my mate, my beloved." I was too worried about her reaction to look at her, she put her hand on my shoulder and I looked over at her. She smiled at me before saying, "I believe you, the second I saw you back there I felt drawn to you and I wasn't sure why all I knew was that it felt right." I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my face even if I wanted to, she smiled back at me and I couldn't take it any more. I pulled over onto the side of the road, I looked at her and said, "I'm sorry love but I can't wait any longer, I have to do this now." I leaned closer to her and she met me in the middle, our lips met and I felt sparks through out my whole body. I ran my tongue along the seam of her lips and she opened her mouth for me, I put my hand on the back of her head and deepened the kiss.
(Augusta Pov)
He kissed me and it was the most amazing feeling I have ever felt before, he ran his tongue along my lips and I opened mine for him. Our tongues battled for dominance but of course he won, when we pulled away we were both breathing heavily. He smiled at me before putting the car back in drive and pulling back onto the road, The drive back to the vampire kingdom was long but peaceful. I kept stealing glances at him as he was driving, he is just so damn good looking I couldn't help it. Just then he looked back at me and caught me staring at him making me blush, he laughed and said, "You can look all you want love, I'm all yours baby." I smiled at him before looking back at the road and enjoying the ride, awhile later we arrived at the castle and pulled into the gates. James parked the car and got out before coming around to my side and opening my door for me, he held onto my hand as he led me to the front door. He opened the door and went into the living room, where my brother and James' parents were waiting.
Alex stood up from where he was sitting and ran over to me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug, I grunted before saying, "Alex, can't breathe." He released me from his hug and stood back to look at me before asking, "Are you okay?" I rolled my eyes and said, "I am fine brother, there were no problems everything went fine." He nodded and said, "Okay well we should get you home." When he said that I started to panic, I didn't want to leave James when I just met him, he was still standing next to me and I grabbed onto his hand. He intertwined our fingers before looking at my brother and saying, "She isn't leaving, we need to talk to you about something lets go sit down." We all went to sit down and James put his arm around me before saying, "Augusta is my beloved."
