Vampire King's Beloved Princess

Auction: Part One

                 (James Pov)

          Days of making calls and planning and the night of the Auction was finally here and they new exactly where it was going to be and at what time. The plan was simple James would go in alone because if Alex went along he would most likely get himself into trouble trying to save his sister, plus James being the vampire king beings feared him. He was thought of as cold and vengeful, and he was but there was also another side to him, the caring and loyal side that only very few people close to him knew of. He was determined to get Augusta out of there safe and sound even if he had to buy her to do so, he didn't know why he cared so much. Yes he was doing this because his parents had asked him to but every since he saw Augusta in her astral form and heard her voice something changed in him and he didn't know what. They only had a few hours until the auction, Alex and my parents and I were in my office finalizing the details in the plan.

       Alex sighed, "Are you sure this is going to work, what if someone out bids you?" I looked at Alex and said, "I'll just keep raising the price, I seriously doubt someone will outbid me but in the case that that does happen I'll use intimidation and if that doesn't work I'll just kill them." Alex scoffed before replying, "And you say I can't go because I will cause problems." My father leaned back in his chair and said, "He's right Alex if you go in there Marcus would see you and that might create problems and he could change his plan and decide to kill her." Alex took a deep breath and responded, "I know you're right I just want to get my sister out of there and make sure she is safe." I leaned forward and looked into his eyes saying, "I promise you Alex I am going to do everything in my power to get her out of there safely." He nodded his head and took a deep breath trying to calm himself.

                 (Alex Pov)

            The plan was set and it was an hour before the auction, James was getting ready to leave. I came up behind him and said, "Please be careful, and bring my sister back." James turned to look at me and responded. "I will, I have a good feeling about this and if anything goes wrong I'll call for backup." For a vampire king who was said to be cold-hearted and cruel James was a good man I didn't know why but I started to hope my sister would end up with a man like him. Someone who could protect her from harm but also love her and treat her like the amazing young woman she is, my sister dating was something I never cared for because after our parents died she is all I have left and I needed to protect her from men that just saw her as a warm body. Augusta was the sweetest person I have ever known, she was also the most stubborn and hardheaded person I've ever known. She needs a man who wont back down and who would be as passionate and loyal as her.

            I could see her and James together but I know that vampires mate for life and their mates were referred to as their beloved. What were the odds that my sister could be his mate, I didn't know but one could only hope. James parents and I walked him to the door as he was leaving for the auction and wished him luck as he got into his car and drove away. We went back into the castle and former queen Savannah said, "Don't worry too much Alex, our son is very capable I have no doubt he will get Augusta back unharmed." I gave he a reassuring smile before replying, "I know, I can tell your son is very loyal and strong I just can't help but worry about my sister she is the only family I have left." former king Henry said, "I regret that we didn't keep in touch as well as we should have with your parents and then you two as well, we got busy with life and then when we heard about your parents passing we were so busy wallowing in our own grief that we didn't think about you kids and for that we apologize." I smiled at them and said, "No need to apologize you are helping us now when we needed it the most that makes up for it in my eyes."

                (James Pov)

           I got to the place the Auction was being held and parked my car, I was able to bypass the line and enter the building quickly because of my reputation and status. I made sure to get a seat in the middle of the first row and waited for the auction to start. Fifteen minutes later a reptilian demon dressed in all black made his way to the podium and started the auction with the first item being a demon s*x slave with long  blond hair, blue eyes and a curvy body. My old self would have found her appealing but I felt nothing looking at her even as she stared at me and licked her red lips. Thirty minutes and four items later I was looking at Augusta's beautiful face and sexy body as she was brought out on stage, she made eye contact with me and my heart started to beat in my chest and my body got tingly Augusta is my mate, my beloved and I would get her out of here if its the last thing I do.

       She looked beautiful in a long white dress that hugged her mouthwatering curves, with her long black hair falling in waves down to her waist her brown eyes shinning in the glow from the ceiling lights. I just wanted to wrap her in my arms, hold her close and get a taste of her full lips.
