Exciting Love

Today is the last day of the semester. Finally. I am a senior at American University in a small country not known to the world. I finished my fall semester with straight A’s and today is finally the annual winter ball. I cannot believe this is my last one. It is always so much fun. We have the best DJs in the city and everyone is dancing. I always go with my best friends.  I still had a few last-minute shopping to do, as we were all going to my place for the afterparty. I still live with my parents in their mansion. There is everything one might need in there. It’s the perfect place for the afterparty. My parents left to our countryside house for the weekend, so we won’t be disturbed.  As I put all the staff in my trunk I sent a text to our group chat.  /So girls, what time are we meeting there?/  I soon got a reply from Kenna.  /8 pm/.  So I have 4 hours until I need to leave. I decided to get my nails done first, so I called the nail salon and set up an appointment in 20 minutes. An hour later I left the place with a really nice shade of nude nail polish called Almandine. I was back at home another half an hour later. I took everything from the trunk of my Porsche and went inside to the kitchen. I put everything into their places and made myself a salad, cause I was starving.  After I was done with my salad, I went upstairs into my room and straight into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and used makeup wipes to take the little amount of makeup that I had on. After which I turned on the shower and took off my clothes.  I showered and got out. I used one of the hanging towels to wrap around my body and the other one to wrap my hair in. As I was finally dry, I did with my skincare. I put my deodorant on and used lotion on my skin. I headed into my closet and put on a pair of black underwear with the matching bra. And put my robe on. I headed back to the bathroom and dried my hair. After which I straightened it. My hair was light brown with highlights. It really suited me. I decided to go full-on makeup today. I used my primer, then my Chanel foundation. I put on concealer and contoured my face. I baked while I started working on my eyes. I went for a light shade of dusty pink. This color complimented my green eyes so perfectly. I used eyeliner and mascara. Then I went for my eyebrows. I filled in a little and used a clear eyebrow gel to fix them in place. I decided to go with a bold red lip, because why not? I used my chemical lipstick so that I won’t have to reapply during the night. I brushed the excess powder off of my face and went back into the closet to choose an outfit. I chose a flowing dress that was very flattering. It was above my knee and long-sleeved. The color was different shades of brown. I chose high-heeled brown boots that went up to over my knee, and my nude Chanel purse. I put my credit card, some cash, my car keys, and my phone in there. I put my beige coat on, went into the garage, got into my car, and drove to the University.  It took me about half an hour to get there. I listened to my favorite songs on the way there. And as I parked I looked at the time and it was 7:50. I decided to go in and wait for my company there. As I was about to leave the car, I saw a figure of a man about 50 meters away. Tall, maybe 6’3, masculine, like a greek god. That man opened the university door and went inside. I felt the sudden urge to go to him, the need to know him. But by the time I was inside of the university, he was gone. As I was thinking about where he could have gone, Cristal came from my back with her boyfriend Harvey. Cristal is slim, tall, and beautiful. She has blonde hair and dark brown eyes. Harvey is actually my cousin. He is 25. He is tall and handsome, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is a chef and is about to open his new restaurant. He and Cristal met at my birthday party last year and have since been together.  — When did you get here? Weren’t you supposed to wait for us? — Well,  yes. But I chose to wait here. Cousin, how are you? Cristal, you look ravishing in this dress. — Well, thank you. You look absolutely stunning as well. Maybe someone will finally notice how beautiful you are. — I am fine Mel. How are you? — I am ok. Just have a strange feeling that something is going to happen. I don’t know. Let’s not talk about that and you guys know that finding a boyfriend isn’t a priority for me. I mean I wouldn’t run from it, but it’s not like I will end up with anybody. As I was saying that Kenna and Liam walked up to us. She has brown curly hair and dark grey eyes, she is tall and slim, with a toned body. He has light brown hair and light blue eyes. He is the same height as Kenna, with blue eyes, blond hair.  — Well who are these gorgeous women in front of me.- Was the first thing she said. At the same time, Harvey and Liam shake hands. They talk on their own, while we continue our own gossiping.  — Says a gorgeous one herself.— I teased.  — Where are Aria and Wyatt? — They will be here any minute. As Cristal finished her words, I saw them enter through the door. Aria had darker skin and dark hair with black eyes. She is tall and slim. And she is studying something completely different from what we all study. She majors in computer science, while we all study business. Wyatt is studying politics. He is tall, slim, and toned, with light brown hair and light green eyes.  — Here they are.— I said pointing to the door, and as they walked towards us, I continued.— What took you so long? You are late. — Well, we have some news.— We all looked at them confused. Aria put her hand up and showed an engagement ring. She then continued with a teary voice.— We are engaged.  — Oh my God. Congratulations. — We embraced them into a group hug. — Well after those good news, we need to party. Let’s go upstairs. We need drinks.—was Cristal’s reply.
