Almeda, The Genesis

The world was once divided into two powerful realms. Agothor, the northern realm, home of the dwarves, witches, sorcerers, necromancers, minotaurs, and the most powerful race of all, the demigods. Agothor is subdivided into four kingdoms and is ruled by the demigod kings led by a demigod Emperor, Lexus who possesses the greatest power of black magic and lightning. Located in the southern part is the vast realm of Pacificus, home of the gentle seraphim, psychics and seers, fairies, priestesses, and the most powerful race among them, the holy deities. Pacifus is divided into clans led by deity tribe leaders under the great deity god Medusalem who possesses the power of sacred magic and healing. The two great realms are bordered by a magical veil that gives every Agoth and Pacifican "mana". Mana is the lifeline of their power to attain great strength, agility and perform magic; however, their powers only work once they are in their respective realms. For Hundreds of years, no one has tried to cross over the veil, afraid that they will lose their powers forever or scared to be held captives by the other powerful races on the other side. Alena, second in line to the throne, princess of the witch tribe was born half witch half demigod. Her mother is the most powerful witch in their clan and is supposed to be crowned as the witch queen, but choosing to marry his one true love a demigod, she chooses to abdicate the throne and give it to her sister who marries a sorcerer which is of their kind. Alena, being half-witch half demigod already had initiation rites with Baikal, the sorting demigod of Agothor. Baikal, touching one's hand has the power to know which dominant power you will hold especially for a blended blood like hers. She may be half witch half demigod but the witch blood dominates her body. All royal-blood witches must undergo a metamorphosis rite once they reach eighteen. The initiation must be done on a full moon, for her to reach her maximum potential power, all twelve royal blood ministry witches must provide the necessary power they can give to Alena during her metamorphosis rite. During the ceremonial rite, she will chant the encantation spell of Habakus. All twelve royal blood witch-ministers including her mother will encircle her and touch her head chanting a dark prayer spell and using most of their mana to complete the spell. It will be a great sacrifice on the minister's side but as part of their tradition, they are willing to offer their powers for the sake of their royal bloodline's future. It's not a big deal at all for ministers, they have done it before during Alena's cousin Miranda's metamorphosis rite, after all, mana can be cultivated again by drinking potions, doing meditation, and bathing in the river of Bathsala. It was a beautiful night for Alena, she was wearing a black lace dress with red crown flowers on her shiny long hair. Her father, a demigod is one of the emperor's trusted generals. Unfortunately, his father needed to rally across Agothor's mountainous northern border, a group of strong minotaurs started a rebellion against the Emporer and he being one of the strongest generals was tasked to secure the mountain borders of the north. But before his father left, he gave her a family heirloom, a red gem necklace that she wore on her metamorphosis rites. At last, the ceremonial rite was over. It's time for the great feast. All witches, sorcerers, and wizards of their kind are present. The ministers with the last few mana's left are happily resting trying to gain some strength exhausted during the ceremonial rites. While the witch clan is feasting, hundreds of soldiers led by King Cairo of West Agothor arrive. The full moon is almost over, he is very angry and asks for all the royal-blood witches or sorcerers to come forward. His beloved wife, Lucia, has been ill for the past few days caused by a dark encantation curse made by a royal blood witch. But King Cairo was deceived. The one who put up the spell is the great sorcerer Baltazar and tricked him into believing that the curse was made by his long-time nemesis rival's clan, Alnur, Alena's grandfather. He let King Cairo believe that for her wife to be saved from agony and pain and to keep her alive, is to kill the royal blood witch who did the curse before the full moon ends. Mirena, one of the royal blood ministers offered her help to check on his wife despite she had few mana's left from Alena's ceremonial rites. But for King Cairo, the time is ticking, the full moon ends any time soon and he still doesn't know which of the royal blood witches or sorcerers is responsible for his wife's curse. So he made a gruesome decision, to kill all royal blood witches clan and none should be kept alive before the full moon ends. The battle between the witch clan and the demigods of the west begins. The witches who lose mana during Alena's metamorphosis rite together with Alena have no match against hundreds of demigod warriors and King Cairo's scythe of fire. Miranda, first in line to the witch tribe's throne, and Alena's cousin were secured by their parents and lower witch servants to escape from the witch land to preserve the witch and sorcerers' royal bloodline. But King Cairo is so blinded by deception, with the power of his scythe, that he strikes Alena with a fire blaze, but mother's love prevails. Her mother shields her from the fire. Alena's mother died protecting her until the end of her last breath. Miranda's mother, the reigning queen uses her one last strength to use the spell of confusion against the west Agothor's soldiers and dark smoke spell to help Alena and Miranda escape from Witchland. With their brooms in hand, they escaped towards the woods until they reached the southern crossroads one road going to the Southern realm towards the veil and one towards the west mountain of Agothors with so many West Agoth assassins and soldiers waiting. Miranda ran towards the mountain and asked Alena to follow her but Alena was so scared that she chose to fly her broom towards the veil crossing the borders of the southern realm without turning her back. As she passes the veil and reaches the southern realm's land, she loses all her power and so as her broom crashing fast towards the ground.
