CHAPTER 14

CHAPTER 14 MILE'S POV I started getting confused as to why Elliot wanted me to go out with him today. He never asks me to hangout, it's always Alpha work first, not that I mind. He's company is quiet intense. I'm just surprise that Lola is the only one willingly to go near him. "I want to leave, Elliot." I say as I slouch on one of the chairs in the booth. Elliot took me to a diner. How bromantic. "Will you shut up and enjoy yourself." He snaps as he looks intensely at he's phone. "What are we even doing here. I mean I know if you're trying to send a few hints to me, but I'm sorry dude. I'm not interested." I reply with a smirk. "I hardly care for you as my brother, I think implying that I care for you as a lover is pushing it." He snaps back as he doesn't move he's eyes from he's phone. "Ouch." I reply with a bored tone as I put my hand over my heart. I then put my headphones in and put my legs on the table as I started to drift off to sleep. That's when the most beautiful smell comes to me. I snap my eyes open only to see Lola and Ella standing in front of our table. "Ella." I say hoarse as I stumble on the ground from moving to quickly. "Smooth." Lola says as she smirks at my struggling form on the ground. "I'm leaving." Ella says as she is about to leave, but Elliot gets out of he's seat and stand in front of her way as Lola grabs her wrist. "What the hell?" Ella snaps back at them as she tries to leave. I finally get off the ground and sit in the seat properly. "You're not leaving." Lola replies, well more like scolds. Ella rolls her eyes. "Why are you trying to force me to stay with him if you knew how much he hurt me." I swear my heart was stabbed from those words. "What about us." Lola says as she puts her arm around Elliot's neck, forcing him to knee down to her level. From this view it looks like he's getting strangled. "Ever since you 2 split whatever this was. You've been acting like a walking emo. I swear I hear you mumble ritual spells from your bedroom door." She explains as she points at Ella, then she points at me. "And you! You've been irritating your brother." She then pauses and gives a wide smile. "Good job, soldier." I can hear Elliot's huffs of anger from her words. "Now make up, because until you do you ain't leaving." She explains. Lola then yanks her arm harder from around he's neck, basically dragging him away to another booth. Ella hesitantly stares over at me and seats down gently. She fiddles with her hand as she waits for the tension to seize. Which won't be happening anytime soon. ELLIOT'S POV "Why are we doing this in public?" I ask Lola, wondering why the plan changed from the pack house to a public diner. "Because Ella would never agree to go to the house Mile's lives in." She then pauses and gives a sly smirk. "And also we wouldn't be able to get our payback if we did it in private." "Payback?" I asked confused. "They made us witness their dark, disturbing stages of a break up, it's time to get even. Oh, and don't think I forgot the fact you led me on a goose chase the other night." My face goes pale at her words. I swear she's the only one that can make me feel this way. An hour goes by we sneak a look over at Ella and Mile's table. They seem to have resolved their problems seeing that they are making out. I smile with happiness, knowing my brother is happy again. But once I look back at Lola she looks different. "What?" I asked confused. She then retreats to her normal mischief expression as she replies. "You should smile more, you're actually quiet handsome." I feel my face burn as I cough the embarrassment away. Lola really is something else. Once I look at her again, she's gone. I look around in panic. Wondering where she could of went. My Alpha mode is on as I scan the room for her. That's when I see her walking towards Miles and Ella, their still making out in the booth as she approaches. I blow a breath of relief, knowing she's alright. "Who would of thought I would see you guys here." She practically yells, trying to get everyone's attention. "Never would I thought I would run into the Darren Siblings." Everyone looks at who she's talking to in curiosity, but instead find two people making out stop. Everyone in the room looks at Miles and Ella in disgust, thinking that they are siblings. I chuckle at her way of getting back at them. She really is something else. Lola then smirks slyly as she quickly covers it up with fake shock. "Oh my, did you finally tell your 10 year, younger sister how you feel?" She continues louder. "I'm proud of you, but you better not tell anyone. Or her husband will get mad." Ella and Miles look at Lola with death glares, as they know this was her way of getting back at them. Lola then runs away out of the diner, I follow behind. Not wanting to leave her side. Wait, what? That's stupid, I mean Lola isn't my mate. My mate passed away before I could truly know her. Although Lola does resemble her appearance, that's probably why I put up with her. Once I'm in the parking lot I see Lola laughing hysterically. I can't help but admire Lola. The way she laughs, she looks so...beautiful. "Did you see their faces?" She laughs out. "Everyone looked disgusted!" I couldn't help but chuckle at how proud Lola felt from this. She really was a Kako, my Kako.
