Melody/Mina

I wasn’t going to accept a mate like this I knew nothing about him. That’s when everything came slamming down on me.

I felt my shift take control as he held me, he shifted as well after me too. My fangs an claws were out at the large tri-colored wolf who was now infront of me. The same one I remembered.

I won’t let those eyes an sweet words pull me in so fast like before! I’m in charge now, I’m the Alpha! I’m our packs last hope! I will not let anyone else win! I heard Mina yelling at me in the corner of my head, saying.

“We can trust him. He’s our mate, he protected us so long ago remember an was here for our first shift. He was drawn back to us from our pain.”

I shook my head quickly trying to get her to shut up. Then I shifted back to my human form, not caring that I was naked.

I stood with pride, strength an courage like I was taught. We were the only ones by the pond. He immediately turned his head to the side, so he wasn’t looking at my naked form.

I started screaming at him in my new alpha voice, or was it my Luna strength I didn’t know for sure I just used this new strength an power I didn’t care where it came from.

“How dare you! Try to claim me as your mate! You left me here by myself! I woke up that morning alone! I was so freighted that morning, I still didn’t fully understand what happened! How could you!” I hissed at him.

My words ringing out so loudly, he finally shifted to his human form. His body was built like many other male wolves with strong muscular definition everywhere, he was so tall as well.

As I pointed at him an continued to scream an demanded answers! “How could you do that to me!” He pulled the same pants on again an slowly lifted the blanket up towards me as he tired to look away. I could see his fangs starting to slip out his round plump lips.

When I didn’t take the blanket from him he tossed it at my feet, then turned to me with a stern stone face an spoke in his commanding alpha voice, his eyes glowing brightly back at me.

They were a deep dark black with a golden rim around them as they were starting to be engulfed in black darkness.

“If you don’t shut the hell up an cover up with the stupid blanket. I’m going to ignore everything your saying. An I’ll just claim you as our shared ancestors did when they found their mate's. I don’t care who watches! I’ll mark you, then f**k you to finish the bonding. I’ve waited five long agonizing years for you. An I want to hold you close to me so badly, I would do anything for you to allow me to mark you as mine. I want to make love to you every minute of each day, I never want to be parted from you again Melody!”

He poured out everything in his deep husky voice. That he seemed to have left in him as his breathing got heavy an it started pulling on my heart, this strange pulling that was with me each day he wasn’t with me.

“Melody! I had just found my lycan that night! I followed your scent here, because of rogues. My wolf an I had to protect you, no matter how f****d up my scenes were. It was so overwhelming to be by you! I saw your first shift, you called out to me as you were laying on the ground here. I saw the rogues try to take you.

So I pronounced my claim on you then, protecting you with everything I had. My inner Alpha awakened that night to keep you safe. You were only 15! You were a child! You weren’t ready for me I was 18, you were to young an I didn’t have control. So I left you!”

He roared back at me, causing me to wrap my arms around my chest an turn away to cover my nudity in a very submissive way.

He walked over next to me, an wrapped the blanket around me again. “If you wish to reject me then do it! It can’t be anymore agonizing than these last five years without you next to me. But to have you so close to my reach an I still couldn’t touch you.”

He said softly with slight defeat on his voice as he ran his hand through his hair. Then started walking away leaving me standing by myself under the tree.

He was about ten feet away from me walking back towards the chaos of the castle. When I finally followed after him. When I got close, I tossed the blanket over his head than said.

"My first shift was when I was 14! I’m a white wolf we shift early!” I said with that alpha cocky charm, shifting back again into my beautiful white wolf, then rubbed my body against his leg an ran forward passed him.

After a few moments, I reached some people trying to clear away the damage. That’s when I felt him push up against my side, his large tri-colored wolf was standing tall an proud next to me. I leaned into his fur on his chest as I rubbed up against him in return he started to purr at me.

“Well I guess its true!” I heard Sarah’s voice proclaim in front of me. “I guess you’re his mate after all.” I was very embarrassed, an hide my blushing face into his chest. If only Sarah could see how red my face was.

“Come back to the castle we have much to discuss Alpha Crimson, along with our new Alpha Miss Simmons.” She said very softly an I took off running back to the castle side door, with this alpha right behind me.

My brother's gamma called forth our castle Steward an direct member of the Werewolf Council. He met us in the hallway, then bowed to us before he spoke.

“Alpha Crimson would you please come with me, we have much to discuss. Theirs clothes waiting for you.” The older man said in a deep voice.

He nodded his head to the older gentleman, then nuzzled my face to his an walked away following the Stewart listening to him talk about laws an rules.

What the out come would be if we marked each other. I heard Sarah call my name, “Melody come on.” I turned an looked at her slowly trotting towards her. I walked into the room an she closed the door, I shifted back into my human form.

She handed me clean clothes which I welcomed right now. “Are you okay Melody!?” She said wrapping her arms around me. We both cried softly together for a few moments till her mate walked in the room.

Chris, my brother’s gamma, No! That’s right they’re my Gamma’s now.

Chris bowed to me an said.

“Alpha, the arrangements have been made for your brother, Alpha Mikey’s funeral. The Southern Treasury lands betas said their Alpha wishes to pay for everything to honor him. I told them we accepted their generous offer.

We must also take a moment to discuss this possible mate opportunity! If you accept Alpha Crimson, it will make the pack stronger. Every Alpha always becomes stronger when his Luna is by his side. But in this case I guess your Alpha? Now, with you being a rare white wolf you have rare abilities besides what you inherited from your bloodline.

It is a large possibility you will develop additional abilities once mated. So what are you thinking we should do? Just know that if you reject him there's a possibility you may have a second choice mate but that's never guaranteed. And after the rejection he might go to war with us but that’s if he is a spiteful Alpha.”

I listened to Chris’s words carefully, an nodded at him. “I’m not sure yet. He could stay for a few days maybe to see if we’re a match? How about you set up a dinner for just us. Something private. Tonight before my brothers funeral.” I said smoothly.

Chris nodded at me an said, “Right away Alpha.” Then turned around an walked out. I hugged Sarah, one more time an nicely excused myself from the room and headed for the elevator. To go back to my room I needed a moment by myself.
