Chapter 7

Akira/Blade

We finished out the rest of dinner with her sitting on my lap. I got excited how her aura was radiating off her yet she still was submitting to me like a little school girl. But she was more than that, I saw how smart she was.

She caught on fast to what I was talking about for political responsibilities, eventually I helped her put her shoes back on and I escorted her back to her bedroom, I might be a terrifyingly vicious Beast but my mother raised me with proper manners.

Once we reached her door, I considered this to be a perfect first date. I smirked when I saw her room door was right across the hall from mine. I knew I smelled her scent close, she opened her bedroom door. So I kissed her cheek an wished her sweet dreams. Her door closed an I slowly started walking across the hall to my door.

I stopped midway in the hallway, then walked back to her door. Rubbing my wrists on her door frame leaving my scent on the outside to tell all other males she was mine an to stay away then went back to my room.

My wolf was on cloud 9 tonight now, I enjoyed wonderful conversation. An the best part I got to have my hands on my mate. I’ve wanted this for so long, she just felt so right to me. I made it to my bedroom then walked in the door closing it quietly behind me not caring she was still wearing my suit jacket on her shoulders when we said our goodnights.

Melody/Mina

Alpha Crimson, blah I’ll never get used to using his name. Even Mikey still had me call him Alpha first. Akira, has been staying at the castle for a month now. He’s close to me everyday, even though I’ve kinda taken up in my room reading these past Alpha journals. Since my brothers funeral, which wasn’t easy for me. It just felt like the right thing to do. It helped me feel close to my family.

At first Akira would just hang out, outside my door giving out orders basically falling into my brothers old role as Alpha for me. All while still keeping tabs on his own lands, once I realized he was there. I started asking him in, he’d work from my sitting room while I would read by the window.

Before I knew it every morning he was here working, always waiting with a smile, dressed so nicely in his work suits. With a warm cup of chai tea always softly steaming away by my current book I was reading in my window nook. Akira would even stop right in the middle of his work to answer any questions I might’ve had from an entry.

This morning though Akira was taking important meetings as I studied in the nook. The castle Stewart and Werewolf Council Member walked into the room, softly he cleared his throat.

“Good Morning, Alpha’s. I’m glad to find you both acclimating well with each other. This than shouldn’t come as a surprise, we need to know if your taking the next steps here. As much of an honor as its been to work with you Alpha Crimson. I’m also flattered that your Beta found his mate here as well within our halls. An all the high lower ranks are meshing well. Just, know that all the high ranking positions are actually filled, which hasn’t been done since the times of Sir Alpha Derek Simmons.”

The older gentleman bowed to us both softly in a respectful way, for a past Alpha. I slammed the book in my hands closed causing everyone to look at me. I stood up, crossing my arms over my chest. I could feel my inner wolf trying to lose control. But I pushed her back, it was nice to know that Luna Millie struggled with her wolf after she found her mate as well.

I held my composure, an turned to my mate in the room our eyes meeting my need of him all over my face. An before I could speak, Akira was to his feet walking towards me. “Thank you, for your kind words. But could we please finish this conversation later. I need to have a moment alone with my mate.” Then his strong, warm arms wrapped around my waist pulling me close to his chest from behind as the door clicked closed.

Akira took a deep breath of my scent from my hair as he spoke. “Goddess, you smell amazing Mel. Your scent alone brings me to a peaceful place. It’s weird how I can feel your feelings, even though we haven’t marked or mated yet!? I can only imagine what it will feel like after we finally do.”

His fangs softly graced over my marking spot as I spoke. “Akira? I need..” He stopped kissing my neck an cut me off. “I know Melody, I need it too. Come Angel, I could use a short break. Besides I very much enjoy cuddling with you.” He took off his suit jacket an tie than leaving it on the chair he was sitting in.

He softly scooped me up in his arms, carrying me to my bed in the next room. Which was the old room my great grandparents shared with each other. I felt more at peace in this room than any other in the whole castle. Now I understand why Alpha Derek had his office moved to this floor, which was now my sitting room.

I cuddled up onto Akira’s chest like I did since my brother passed. He’d pull me as close as I could get, I’d grip his shirt in my hands. As he’d kiss the top of my head, why’ll he softly rubbed my back. Soon sleep would take us both over we’d normally sleep for an hour but for some reason I didn’t. My heart just hurt to much.

At first, when I finally opened my eyes again softly from a bright light I thought I must’ve been dreaming. When I saw this beautifully glowing woman sitting on the end of my bed wearing a gorgeous white gown with white hair an bright glowing ice blue eyes. Her eyes closed as she raised her hands above us, I listened quietly to her words as I gripped my mate tighter.

“You are the blessing that was promised my sweet child. He’s here to help guide you along your path. His soul is special and will love you so unconditionally. You both are my future. Our future. Soon you will know the rest of the truth my sweet moon child.

Please find peace in this new life, you will always be apart of my soul. When ever you need me just say my name an I’ll always come to you. Know that, when it all may seem dark. Your light will never waver as long as your heart stays pure.”

Her voice sounded so divine to my ears as a soft tear fell from her cheek, I didn’t realize it was all real till she got up an looked at me one more time. “You will do splendidly my sweet Melody.” Then she just vanished, like the wind blows, into the evening light.
