Chapter 9 Travis’ morning began very differently than the day before. Warm skin was fused to his back and he found himself caged in by steel sturdy arms and a thigh wedged completely between his own. The painfully straight line of a nose had ensconced itself between Travis’ shoulder blades. Cool breath tickled his spine, but Travis grinned, delighted. A vast improvement from yesterday’s start. His mate didn’t snore, Travis suspected Virgil didn’t need to sleep really, but the whirring clicks of his alpha’s air intake apparatus served the same vaguely annoying function.
