Loki finally let him leave with a grimace and assurance that he could find nothing wrong with the diagnostic.
What a waste, Virgil silently fumed. There were more important matters to deal with and a serial killer to apprehend. Thirty minutes that he could have used to prepare for the mayor’s interrogation were gone.
