My Powerful mate

It was the last day of spring and the weather was amazing i couldnt wait to get out of this classroom and get an early start on getting myself ready for tomorrow as its a really important day for all of the unmated wolves which includes me, we all have to attend the pack house at 10am in our wolve form so that our Alpha Finn and Luna Cami can start the proceedings then we can all shift back into our human forms for us to find our fated mates given to us by the moon goddesses. I was hoping that i would be so lucky to get close to Rhys he is Alpha Finn and Cami's only son and he is drop dead gorgeous. Rhys turned 18 two days ago and tomorrow I will turn 18 just in time to join this year you never know if your mate will be there. Finally the bell rings and class is over snapping me out of my day dream thinking of everything i need to do to get ready head of time, i grab my bag and quickly run for the door i meet my best friend jess at the front of school it to is her first time going too. Jess's POV "Omg Sky i can't believe its almost here and you are so lucky your 18th is on the same day i mean come on its fated that you will find your mate tomorrow what an awesome birthday present that will be, but i will not be so happy if you steel my man" "Dont get yourself all worried Jess im not even into Conner one bit you can have him" "Oh yeah i forgot you only have eyes for the hansom Rhys our soon to be next Alpha." SKY'S POV I knew she was making fun of me as he is the only person i have really had a crush on, i started crushing on him when i was 13 and was looking out of my bedroom window which happens to over look the pack house and saw him training with the rest of the pack house it was then i knew that i wanted to be his mate and the future luna of the pack but he would never choose someone like me, im a book worm a geek if you want to give me the proper name. "Hello earth to Sky you know I'm just joking right and that I dont mean it?" "sorry jess yes I know you didn't mean it shall we go now and start getting ready for tomorrow" I didn't even have to finish my sentence before she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of school as quickly as possible. We are 2 minutes away when i spot Rhys and he is watching our every move, i nugde jess to let her know we were being watched, shortly after I knew that was probably the worst thing I could have done, JESS'S POV We are almost back to sky's house when i feel a sharp stab to ribs. "what the hell sky that hurt." She didn't sat anything just pointed to the left side of us, that's when i saw Rhys stood there watching our every move, and i knew just what to do. "Hi Rhys looking good, are you looking forward to tomorrow" Sky is staring daggers at me wishing me to shut the hell up but i cant help myself i love to embarrass her a little if I can. Rhys doesnt say anything but continued to stare at us i couldnt tell if he was looking at me or sky. I did how ever notice a twitch of his nose as he discreetly tries to sniff the air. "mmmmmm" A low grumble comes from Rhys and i know its time to get out of here, i grab skys hand and start walking the last stretch to sky's house. We turn and say goodbye to our future Alpha and leave as quickly as we stopped. RHYS'S POV Im walking around the front of the pack house thinking about tomorrow and how i hope i find my mate, there had been girls turning up here all day hoping that their scents would catch my eye but non of them did. I had turned 18 a few weeks ago and ever since my mum had been on my back telling me I needed to find our future luna and quick because i would be the new Alpha next month. I was deep in thought thinking about who my future mate would be and what she would look like, i was also hoping that the moon goddess would bless me with my mate from this pack and not someone from another as she would already know the pack like the back of her hand, when most delicious smell hit me. "MATE" My wolve loki said i turned around to see 2 girls walking past one of them looking at me and blushing she was rather hot and then she looked away looking slightly embarrassed when her friend turned to me with a big smile on her face then she spoke. "hi Rhys looking good, are you looking forward to tomorrow?" I couldnt answer but I just stood there and stared knowing full well one of them was my mate but i couldnt tell which one as they were stood so close together it was hard to tell who the smell of coconut and honey was coming from. Thats when loki got the better of me and let out a low growl. "mmmm" After that they both said goodbye and headed off to the house 2 minutes down the road, this made me wonder why i had never taken notice as to who lived there. I turned around and went back in to the pack house.
