Christmas

I've been living with Max and her family for almost a four and a half months now and they have made me feel like a family member. Although when I'm in my room and all alone it reminds me that I will never be part of there family no matter how much they try, and I hold on to a wolf stuff animal that I feel in love at the mall. I cry into the wolf stuff animal and pray to the moon goddess every night.

I've still been going to school and working at the café. Tyler and some of his pack mates come by when they can, the wolf council still came by and they talked to me. There was times that the wolf council would take to one of there buildings on the days I was off. Some of the stuff they was asking me I didn't know the answer to, actually all the questions I didn't know the answers to. I could only tell them my name first, I didn't know my true last name, and I told them my mom's names and what had happened to us, and to me until they found me.

Anyway right now it's December the twenty-fourth which is something Max called Christmas Eve. I have no idea what it is because mom and I didn't have time to think about thinks like this holiday when we was on the run from the rouges. At this time Max and I have the same day off from the café and we going from store to store getting things for the kids and Lance. I've picked out something I thought Max might like. I've also got my friends gifts, and even the ones that comes from Tyler's pack to the café, and the wolf council. Sure I'm not in a pack but when I'm around any of them something in me feels safer and feel like I belong. "That is a lot of gifts" Max said to me as we checked out at the store we was at "I have a lot of people to give too." I said to her and looked at me "The ones from the café?" She ask and "Not all of my customers, just a few of them." I said to her and just shook her head as we took our stuff to her car and then got and went home.

The next day I had three kids bust into my room “COME ON!! GET IT UP!! CHRISTMAS IS HERE!!!” They all yelled as they jumped onto my bed “Okay okay I’ll be in the living room in a bit.” I said laughing a bit and the kids jumped off my bed and ran out of my room. I looked over at the window as I let out a sigh, though kids have been the biggest part of helping me feel like a family member here with Max and Lance.

I got out of bed and went into my bathroom and did my morning routine. Once I was done in the bathroom I walked out of the bathroom and into my room to get dress. My clothing consisted of a blue v-neck t-s**t and a pair of skinny jeans, and I braided my hair so it would be wavy when I took it down. Once I done in my room I walked into the living room “Jaz you had three gifts dropped to you this morning and one was in a dress bag, a shoe box shape and a smaller box was at the door.” Lance said to me and I looked at him “I’ll take them to my room.” I said to him and looked at me “Who are they from Jaz?” He ask me and I rubbed the back of my neck “A couple of people that has came to the cafe” I said to him and he looked at me and let out a sigh “Don’t get into trouble” He said as he turned and walked into the kitchen, I could only nod. ‘It’s ether the pack that Tyler is from or the wolf council… and I hope it’s from the council.’ I thought to myself as I got the stuff and took it in my room and hung up the dress ‘I’ll look at it after breakfast.’ I thought to myself. Then I walked back out of my as but I grabbed my phone as I did.

I walked back down stairs and into the kitchen “Breakfast will be ready in a bit Jaz” Max say to me and I nod “Can I help with anything?” I ask just like I do every morning “No sweetie, I’ve got it covered.” She said “Alright then Max.” I said as I want to get me a bottle of orange juice and there was none “I’ll go to store and get some orange juice and milk.” I said to Max and she smiled “Thanks sweetie” I walked out of the house with my hands in paints pocket, thankful the store we go to sometimes was only two miles away from the house. As I walked to the store my phone started to ring and I took it out of my pocket to answer it. “Hello Council man?” I said to only get a giggle from the other end “No sweetie, his wife.” She said and I could tell she was smiling “Did you get my gifts?” She ask and I smiled as I walked into the store “Yes ma’am I did, but I have not looked at them yet, I plan on it after I have breakfast with Max and her family.” I said to her “Well give me a call after you look it.” She said to me “I will ma’am” I said to her as I got off the phone to get what I needed.

Once I was on my way back to Max’s house I got stopped by Angel and Ann, they gave me there give and I just loved it, it was very pretty necklaces and bracelet set that they had made for me, I told them I would text them so we could meet up and and I give them their gifts.

Once I got back to Max’s house we had breakfast and gave the kids their gifts as well as each others gifts. I left the room as Max and Lance cuddled to each other and watched there kids play. I went to my room to look at the gifts I had got from the Council woman this morning. I was very hesitant to unzip the dress and look at the other gifts. I stud in front of the black dress bag for awhile and then I unzipped the bag. I carefully took the dress out of the bed as I looked at it, it was a cute pink dress that hug off the shoulders and it was about kneel lint. ‘Oh my word this is beautifully, I can’t wear something like thing’ I thought to myself as I looked at the shoes and they was some cute flat white shoes with a small rose on the side, then I looked at the other box and there was short necklace with a wolf pendent on it and a bracelet with the same pendent. I put the dress back in the bag and huge it back up. Then I called the Council woman and we talked and I cried while I was on the phone.
