Chapter 32 - Answers
"Where are we going...?" Brandon murmured softly not really caring what the answer would be. In truth he was happier to get a break from the harsh lesson then he was happy that Hovel had decided to speak more with him about his mother.
"To my study. Now put on the clothing and stand silent." Hovel snapped.
In daze of sorts Brandon complied. Agonizingly he slipped the dirty robes back over his beaten body, hissing as the cloth hocked on broken bloody skin, but soon enough he had the white stained robes pulled down on his torso.
And as he worked Brandon watched his father march over to the door, pull out the black card from before...and swipe it past the box on the door, then put it back into his robes.
With a beep and a hiss the large dented metal door, swung open
