Cont'd Chapter 9

Venom POV

I pulled to a couple of Emerald’s spots but was unsuccessful the next spot pulled up was some strip club called Onyx. I told them that I was a new girl that I was starting today. Those gorillas believed every word, it was too easy. I looked around and caught miss Emerald taking what I believe to her next meal to the private dance booth. I’ll be nice and let her and him get a nut really quick then I’ll snatch her up, which is exactly what I did.

“Now, now Emerald that will be enough of that.” I said to her while looking at me in shock that she was interrupted from enjoying her meal.

“Let me go you b***h, who the hell are you?” she asked in an angry tone.

“I’m a friend of your stepsister and I have been looking all over for you.”

By calling for security I can tell she didn’t believe me. A big smile came across her face then confidently taunted “You’re in trouble now.” I just rolled my eyes because I knew she didn’t know who she was messing with. I cuffed her to the door handle, so she wouldn’t run away. I dealt with the two goons swiftly and quietly. By time I was done teaching security some manners on how to treat a lady I turned around to see that this b***h was able to escape the cuffs. Uggggh! Before I could go after her my phone rang and it was Tara.

“Yeah Tara”

“How is everything going?”

“Well, I found her and had her in my grasp, but security got in my way, and she escaped.”

“Yeah, she is pretty good at that.”

“Was that all you called me about?”

“No, Uma’s school called she got into a fight and needs an adult to come to the principle’s office to talk about it.”

“Then go, I don’t know why you’re calling me about that.”

“I can’t leave I’m in the middle of test blood for a case for two different departments. Can you handle it I promise I owe you for this.”

“f**k Tara! Fine but trust and believe I will collect my debit from you” I said before hanging up the phone.

I arrived at Uma’s school and went straight to the office. I informed them that I’m Uma’s temporary guardian and that a message was sent to me about her fighting. The lady looked at me like I’m just a walking disappointment. She ushered me to the principal’s office where I see Uma and what I believe to be the girl she f****d up and her mother.

“Thank you for coming Miss?” the principal asked.

“Detective Venom”

“Ahh yes, well to put it plainly Uma was caught fighting in the hallway after 3rd period and which require us to suspend her.”

“Ok, Uma what was the reason for the fight” I asked her.

“She called my mother a w***e and that my mother was to busy spreading diseases and opening her legs to be a proper mother to me. So, I punched her and then smashed her face in the lockers and that’s when one of the teachers got me off her and sent us here” She explained.

“Do you see the behavior your child has displayed and then assaulting my child all because my daughter told her the truth.”

“Ma’am the only wrong I see is that your daughter didn’t know how to keep her mouth shut and mind her damn business. It is not your daughter’s place to say s**t to anyone who didn’t ask for her baseless don’t give a f**k opinion. And you principal, you should be ashamed of yourself for allowing this untrained girl to bully my niece for no reason. You will hear from our lawyer both of you for harassment and emotional destress because I know this is not the first time this kid has stalked and physically humiliated my niece so try and suspend her and the meeting, we will have will be in the court room.” I ranted, even though I was totally bluffing but they can’t know that.

“Now, now we don’t want that kind of attention how about 1 week detention for both of them. How about that detective” I love it when this weak of a man groveled at my feet.

“That’s fine and you miss b***h?”

“Uggh, fine but if she hits my daughter again” I cut her off.

“Or what? Let’s hear it I’m all ears!” I dared her.

“Nothing we will take the deal of detention.”

“That’s what I thought.” I took Uma with me and told the principal she will be taking the rest of the day off and she will see them tomorrow morning.

We were driving in silence heading to her house so she could get some clothes since she doesn’t have s**t in my house. I look over to the side and see that she seems nervous.

“I’m not mad at you if that’s what you’re worried about” I reassured her.

“Really?”

“Yup really, really”

“Why not?”

“Why would I be? The b***h was harassing and bullying you first. So as far I can see it, she got what she deserves. As long as you’re not going around picking fights or getting venges on every person that hurt you then I’m fine with that.”

“Hey Venom, you’re pretty cool.”

“I prefer bad ass, but I’ll take pretty cool” I gave he a wink and a side smile.

Once we pulled up to Uma’s house, I got a call from Tara. She asked me was everything ok with Uma and I informed her that Uma beat up a girl that had been bullying her and was given one week detention. Tara was happy to hear that, then she went on to ask if I caught her sister yet and I told her no because I had to make a school trip in her place, so I was pretty busy. All she could do was sigh and went on to inform me that there was victim named Taylor Gibbs a 24-year-old male. She explained to me that he had s*x before he died, and he died in the gas station bathroom. Geez, she either doesn’t care or she is getting desperate, I need to speed this up. As I’m talking to Tara, I hear Uma screaming in the house.

“What happened to Uma Venom?” Tara asked frantically.

Once I ran into the house, I saw Uma standing in the hallway with fear written all over her face.

“Uma, Uma! Look at me! What happened?” I asked and all she could do was point to her room.

I turned around to see a dead body laying on the floor of Uma’s room.

“Tara, your sister has been here recently.”

“Wait, What? How do you know?” she asked confused

“Because one of her victims is lying dead on Uma’s bedroom floor and his body temp is still warm.”

“Oh f**k, what are we going to do we can’t let this get out or they will put her in jail, and she doesn’t need jail she needs medical treatment.”

“Calm down Tara, I will handle it but you need to come over to my house.”

“Yes, of course, I’ll be there at 7pm” she said before hanging up.

I told Uma to go get in the car and wait while I cleaned this mess up.

I called Jeff because if any man can lure out a crazy Angel Spider on a feeding frenzy it's this sexy man.

"Hey Jeffy-boo"

"Hey Venom, what's going on? The only time you call me Jeffy-boo as cute as it sounds coming from you, is only when you need my help?"

Already this man knows me we'll. Have I lost my touch when it comes to people being able to predict me? Wait, no, focus Venom you called this man for a reason analysis yourself later.

"Yeah, I do need your help"

"Ok, what is it that you need?"

"How good are you at seducing an Angel Spider?" I asked smiling devilishly on the other end of the phone.

Tara POV

I arrived at Venom house with Venom and my niece waiting on the couch. I ran to my niece and hugged her tight making sure she was ok and she just started to cry her eyes out.

"I don't want to end up like my mom. Auntie please I don't want shift for the first time and lose control like her" she pleaded to me

"Don't worry I will figure something out to help those urges. But right now you go upstairs and rest while I talk to Auntie Venom" she nodded to my request, gave Venom some weird hand shake before going upstairs.

"I'm guessing that fancy hand shake just happened today?" I asked Venom

"Yeah, I'll tell you all about that and what happened at the school later but right now my guest should be arriving right about .........now"

The moment she said that her doorbell rang and there walks in a gorgeous tall black man bold with a well groomed beard and a nice burgundy fitted suit showing all his muscles stands before me.

"Jeffrey this is Tara my friend and Medical Examiner to the police force" she introduced us

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Tara" he grabbed my hand kissed it. I thought I was going to faint which is weird because I'm into women not men so what the f**k just happened.

"Just so you know Jeff here is an Incubus and he is going to lure your step-sister out. Hey did you bring the meds to calm her down?"

Oh a s*x demon that explains a lot of what I'm feeling. Their will make you question everything about your sexuality. I just nodded yes to her question about the small dose of a sedative.

"Good now let's go catch us an Angel Spider"

I just love how Venom is always on the ready with such confidence. Even when I rudely pushed my niece on to her, she handled it like pro. I know after this I need to step up with being an great Aunt to Uma because she deserves it. We end up leaving my niece back at the house so she won't have to witness the process of catching her mother. We arrived at a strip club for we got word that she was working here tonight. The plan is Venom's friend Jeff will go in get a few dances out of her in the more public booths first then offer money to go back to his place for a more private dance. Once he lures her outside that's when we grab her and cuff her.

Jeff POV

When Venom called me saying she needs my help in catching an Angel Spider my first thought was what has she gotten herself into. But then it's it doesn't matter because she knows I could never tell her no. I walked in to the strip club and made my way to the bar. I ordered an old fashioned and sat there scanning the room but mainly the stage. The one thing when comes to my kind is that once we locked eyes with you we have you under our s****l control. The funny thing is I could never use it on Venom. Because her feelings I truly care for and want those feelings to have genuine love for me. Also with her being the granddaughter of the world snake, the daughter of the basilisk like from the stories of Harry Potter and Medusa from the Greek tales it wouldn't have worked anyways. Their kind can never be compelled by any Fae. How I know this? because my i***t son tried that tactic on her when they first met. To be honest it was funny how she....how to put in delicate term educated him with a hard right hook to the jaw. Since then I've been falling for her but when she was dating my son I had to step back. The moment my son f****d that up which I don't know how you would want to but I swooped in and took herself for myself, well as much as she allows. I'm not ashamed of anything I like what I like and I want what I want. As I ordered another old fashioned I see the girl they wanted me to lure out. So, when I locked eyes with her it was like puddy in my hands. I got her to want to come over and get close to me.

"Well hello there handsome. What you drinking?" She asked

"Nothing much just an old fashioned to start"

"Sounds sophisticated, I think I'll have one too. Bar tender bring the same drink as my friend here" she yelled

We chatted and migrated to a public booth and got a few dances out of her before putting the plan in action.

"Hey if you wanna make some really good money why don't you come back to my place and we can really have a private dance?" I asked even though the only person I want under or on top of me is Venom but let's stick to the mission at hand.

"Sure I would love that" she eagerly said as she grabs her stuff we walked out together.

Venom POV

As we were waiting outside for them to come out Tara was getting a little to fidgety for my liking. So I asked her what was wrong and she explained that this whole stake out thing that we are doing was for the birds. I guess she's ready to get this over with, it's pretty funny because I know she prefers her lab than field work.

"Look Tara they're coming out now" I whispered to her.

She nodded her head and once I gave the signal we both jumped out and grabbed her. Let me tell you this, Angel Spiders are pretty strong because right when I thought I had her she slipped out and was able to grab and throw me across the parking lot. Luckily she threw me in the direction of Jeff because the way I went flying I wasn't going to land on my feet. Her step-sister tried to make a run for it once she got free from Tara but Tara wasn't having it. Tara is a Black tarantula and trying to run away is a big no, no. Their kind has speed used to chase down their prey. And let's just say her step-sister didn't make it far before Tara caught up to her with a quickness and gave her a quick shot of the sedative and out like light she goes.

"Great job girl, you sure you don't want to be a detective we could sure use your skills in the front line." I was half joking because I knew that it wasn't for.

"No, I'm perfectly happy in the walls of my lab but thanks for the invitation"

"Thank you for everything Jeff, we couldn't have done this without you" I said

"No problem, anything for you Venom. However, if you really want to thank me how about I come over tonight and you can show me how thankful you are my little venomous snake" he said with such seduction in his voice my panties got wet and that's an invitation I don't plan on turning down.

I told him ok then gave him a peck on the lips letting him know I will see him later. Once he left Tara just looked at me with a knowing smile on her face. I swear between her and Peri I don't know who's worse. We put her Step-sister in the back of my car and drove back to my house to get her niece. Uma heard the door open and ran down to hug Tara then hugged me.

"Did you find her?" uma asked

"Yeah, she in the backseat of my car now. I had to put her under sedation but she fine for the most part" Tara answered

Uma looked over to me and realized that she was not going to live me anymore.

She looked at me and asked "Can I stay with you?" I told her my life style and job won't be able to give her a stable home and that she was better off staying with her Auntie Tara. She grew sad but just to reassure her I gave her a key to my place and told her anytime she feels unsafe that she more than welcome to come here. That made her happy and Tara took her and left. I hope everything works out but right I need to go wash my ass for the arrival of Jeffy-boo.

Shelly POV

"That will conclude this witches meeting for today everyone fly safely" baba yaga said

As I was cleaning up baba yaga approached me and I can tell she had a question for me.

"So, how are you and Venom doing Shelly?"

"We are ok but she still guarded with me for the most part"

"Well, don't forget the mission at hand Shelly. I understand her kind can be very desirable but we must not lose sight of the bigger picture"

"I know Mother, but I don't like lying to her" my mother tends to forget that all thing are not black and white when feelings are involved.

"I know my daughter for you have a heart of gold but she can't know about her sister till the time is right. Just keep sending the clues that Snow wanted her to find so we can bring back balance between human and Fae"

"Yes, Mother"
